D8 That's scary! haha I remember at my dad's house when we were knocking down walls to re-insulate (it's an old house) there was all these little flaky leg things everywhere in the walls. I'd never seen them before, and my mom didn't know what they were either. Now I know! I've never seen them before, besides their skin any way.

I've heard that those things eat spiders, so maybe they are not that bad...

I have ants. They are everywhere and they just don't go away. They are the teeny ones that you squish and they stink. So called 'Piss Ants' by my grand ma and mom; because you just can't kill them and they piss you off. xD

From my understanding centipedes eat other bugs, so do praying mantis. We've had our share of mantis at these last two houses and welcomed them all.

And just as I'm feeling energetic my back goes out.

My friend rather loves all kinds of creepy crawlies - he keeps live ones as pets, and has many many dead ones pinned to his bedroom wall... So I've gotten rather less squemish about them.

And that picture - aw... He even managed to persuade me to keep a praying mantis - oddly I managed to keep mine into old age, whereaas neither of his lasted very long.

Mantises (sp?) are very valiant. I've seen one stand off three cats.

Darn in an attempt to leach out the excess dye before fixing it - I may have inadvertantly ruined an unrelated item of dollieh clothing...

I shall see when it's dry how bad the damage is, but the transfer image on the shirt has gone a bit odd...

I'm... numb. After the first cat we wanted wasn't going away from her previous owner after all, I was disappointed yet again today. We'd set a date and time and still she sent me a hasty email saying "sorry someone else is gonna pick her up will let you know if it falls through". What?! ... is it just me or is this completely obnoxious behaviour? It's not like it's a computer, it's a pet. I'm... sad. Angry. I don't know what I am. Numb most of all. I'm too scared to look forward to a little pet coming to live with us now. People have let me down every time so far -_-. It sucks balls.

Evelien, is this an individual person or a rescue? We individuals are sadly notorious for being flighty and inconsiderate when it suits us. However, if it's a rescue, I start looking into their history as something sounds fishy.
