So very true. If times weren't tough, I would probably have more dolls than I knew what to do with. But having a limited budget and an expensive goal has taught me wonders on money management. Whether it was a doll, a new graphics tablet, or any other luxery item, there simply isn't any way to justify spending money on an expensive hobby when bills need to be paid. So I had to save little bits here and there. But it's also gratifying to finally get something that you've worked for. It will be nice not to have to worry about being able to pay said bills. All of my jobs have been minimum wage, unskilled labor. Even the job I had as a graphics artist was middling at best, because my boss was a cheapskate. (average entry level graphics artist: $14 an hour or more. My wage: $8 an hour, and I also had to do telemarketing and computer coaching for my boss's mother whenever she was in the office) So to start at $10.50 an hour, plus commission will be a nice step up. In Florida, there is no state income tax, and min. wage is.... $7.50 I think. I could be wrong.
Too many dollies to list. Check my profile if you wanna know who's who!
