I was going to say a summer away from my fabric... But I bought Halloween calico.
Did however get more at ease with deciding to part with a tub full of geisha "Japanese" prints I haven't done squat with. Here I can see the Marie Kondo lay out all your fabric in one place and see what works and what doesn't. I know there's other stuff that will probably go too, and yes, y'all get to see it.
A compromise, especially for a quilter, is to only get the smallest amount they'll cut for you. A couple patches here and there have satisfied most of my desires to have something.

I'm crocheting a two headed mushroom in Christmas colours. It's so dark in the apartment that it's slow work.

My sister's next day off, we're having a dolly Craftmas day. I have all sorts of Christmas colored craft materials, we're going to drink cocoa and do crafts all afternoon. I have some holiday themed crafting ideas, but my sister doesn't get very much time off, so I will let her work on whatever she pleases.
