Uuuugghhh....

I think I noticed a trend in seasons and my hobbies. Winter seems to be my doll anything season, Late summer/Fall seems to be my fursuit building season and spring/early summer is my gaming season.

For now, though, I don't have the drive to even clean my apartment....

I did get a new doll related idea, though, so I think it's slowly coming back into that season . a BJD version of http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh207/Itsaiya/Leon.jpg this character, whom I just made up recently.
I haven't found the right sullen look in a head to sit there and go "that would make an awesome Leon", but theres plenty of emo/sullen/brooding faced dolls out there. o_O He's sorta a mix between a cheetah, a tiger and a lion in the sense of his tiger stripes, the black tear mark from Cheetahs and the teardrop shapes over the eyes (as well as shaggy hair) of a lion.... I'd probably paint his whole body in the tiger stripes and spots mix. The tail would be like the pictar.... long, tiger-striped, cheetah-spotted and with a lion tuft.
I kinda smashed them together after being indecisive of just one big cat theme.

Ideally I'd make him 70cm with a thin body, as I made him tall and lanky based on cheetahs, but I don;t think I'd have enough room for another 70cm... especially if I ever get my DOD Luke <3

He's also a western-themed bounty hunter (lol cheetahs/tigers/lions in the wild wild west. mmmk).... I'd have to find him a cowboy hat and a duster, as well as chaps... (or something like it).
and, I forgot what was there, but the SD sized guns in Emory's arsenal would be awesome. It may not be a sniper, but if there's a rifle or any sort of long barrel gun (shotty/rifle, etc), then still awesome, sign me up for one. But not till I really decide on a mold and set it in my mind.

I couldn't decide if he should use a whip or a sniper rifle, so I made a made-up weapon of both. It's a sniper rifle till he removes a solid rod and the pieces dislocate. then via a heavy duty wire thing, it becomes a whip with shapr metal pieces. Of course IRL that can't happen, but oh well =x lololol.


I feel bad - I was going to finally make something out of this little obitsu I've had laying around, but I never did. Every time I look at it with intention to execute the design I had in mind, I'm sitting there like, "do I really want to do this and not save it for something in the future?
So... I decided if I'm not apparently hellbent enough, it must be for something else in the future.

I've had that - it depends on where the main sorting center is, around... I've had a package from upstate New York go to somewhere to Jersey.... then somewhere in like, the south, giving me a heart attack... then back up to New York, to Queens z.z It would have been so much easier if it were just direct... Upstate new York to Queens, New York. Easy, right? but nooOOoooo....

Got a verbal hand slap from a DOA mod for something I (technically) didn't do . . . The local group is meeting next Saturday and I asked that if anyone had any male MSD clothing to please bring it. I didn't say anything about buying or selling. Yes we all know it's done at the meetings, but we also do a lot of trading in my group. A mod deleted my post and lectured me about the RULEStm, telling me that I should acquaint myself with them if I have any questions. . . .

That makes me feel so good to think about the name tag paper hat thing Especially being these are the paper hats who have to spend 5x what I do on a doll just for a brand name. Don't care how ugly it is, it's still a Coach/Prada bag which makes me a better human being than you!

Honestly the DoA mods so many times are so obsessed with either justifying their position with bullying and throwing their "authority" around, or simply so full of themselves that there are really only two reasons why I still go there. The Marketplace and the Sewing/customizing threads.

Dollykim. Who or what sculpt is your 40cm model. He seems quite grown up looking compared to an MSD (usually portrayed as being in mid teens)

On a totally unrelated note this pic reminds me of how I once use to measure stuff by going 1 Obitsu or 2 Obitsu end to end.....
