I sketched out the first one on paper then traced it but the other I drew directly on the fabric.

Since all went well with the octopuses I'm thinking towards drawing cloth doll parts on to the panels. Going to do things slightly differently to manage the bleed better. Being a bit more patient to let things dry is a start.

Just got to figure out who the first victim doll will be.

My brain has decided I should draft a pattern for an early 1900s style dress for my dolls. The problem? I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HOW TO EVEN BEGIN DOING THAT. Down the historical fashion rabbit hole I go, I guess. Somebody please remember to throw snacks in the hole once in a while.

I have read that crows (and magpies) are among the most intelligent of birds! High intelligence requires frequent mental stimulation aka new distractions!

I bet a 1/3 scale Smart Doll would make a fantastic Gibson Girl / Fisher Girl / Christy Girl.
