My mom went into the ER monday night with stomach and leg pain. She had to have sugary done on her stomach. She's still in intenive care today on a ventilation system and has yet to wake up. Please have her in your prayers and thoughts.

A postman brought two packages that were meant for me to the wrong address and once I rang the right neighbour's doorbell, he was shocked I'd found him because he ate all of the contents of one of the packages. It was a big box full of typical American food from my American friends. I know this is nothing compared to health problems of loved ones but I am FURIOUS.

The other package contained a vintage doll I had bought on eBay. He threw it away but he must have recovered it from the trash because he came by to bring it to me later.

The guts. This is pure stealing.

Is messing with the mail a federal offense like it is here in the US? You should be able to bring theft charges against him.

I agree Evelien...that's theft no matter how you look at it. I would call the cops if I were you and at least file a report. And make sure you talk with your local post office so it doesn't happen again. If it was insured, you might be entitled to compensation by the Post Office too.

I agree if it happened in the US he'd be facing criminal charges and your post man would lose his job as he deserves.

Please call the authorities Evelien, it's theft and I can't imagine why your country wouldn't treat it as such.
