Uhhhhhhhh........ There is a 11.5" Queen Beryl doll on ebay for a decent price, but the seller only has 55% positive feedback...... The doll is super-rare and hard to find (especially at a decent price), and I do already have ONE of her...... and I really want to buy this one...... but I DON'T want to spend a lot of time fighting to get my money back for an item I'm not likely to actually receive...... T___T
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

I say don't do it. In eBay terms, 55% is more than just a little bad. That is TERRIBLE.

Agreed, Lamia - forget it. It's not worth the almost certain hassle. Personally, I don't do business with anyone having less than 90% and I look very carefully into those with less than 95%! Then again, I've been the victim of both account hacking and fraud before so I'm super cautious.

I stick to people in the 90s and I look at why they got bad or neutral, usually it's because the buyer is an idiot or didn't get the item next day. As a seller I've had a couple of times where I couldn't immediately ship out so that I understand. Sometimes selling accounts go quiet, like mine did, because they don't have anything to sell for awhile. Check what their history of selling is, what kind of stuff, and look for buyer protection.

A seller and I are in the middle of dealing with the post office having sent my package to another city, I think the seller printed out the shipping label so that's not the problem unless the printer went all Buttle Tuttle Brazil...

As tempting as the item is, I wouldn't go for someone with that low of a rating either... would be way too worried about being scammed. heh, even 90somes I worry about some still too hehe. I've heard rumors that people can fake some positive ratings to raise their feedback.

Exactly. They will also "sell" stuff to friends without using PayPal or any accountable service. No actual transaction takes place but all the electronic forms are filled out.

Ew, its gross to think that people would do that just to get people to buy stuff from them when they can't be trusted x_x

At the rate bummers are piling up I'm going to be due some pretty good luck here soon. Somewhere in my travels I managed to do something that has ended up with a bruise under a big toe nail. It hurts and feels weird like there's something under the nail. Pics if it starts turning pretty colors.

EDIT: ahaha freak out over. Everything should really be fine so I'll just give them a call when they're open tomorrow. In the meantime...back to watching the Olympics.

Make sure you have all the documentation.

NEVER send them the originals.

Send it by registered mail so they HAVE to sign for it.

I hope everything will be fine, but it will probably take a whole lot more than just one phone call. And you might have to get a lawyer involved.

Yeah, I've been documenting everything but most of it was supposedly cleared up on the phone today. The consolidation process hinked up the computers. I got the official "hey we paid everything off" letter today but their system is still half wrong. I'm assured that this will clear itself up within two weeks and that my credit score won't be affected by this, but I also got the information on how to fix the credit score if it does get messed up by this. I don't think this is over, but I think it will be okay.
