Stopped in Michaels for unrelated dollieh reasons and also brought home a sheet of stick-on rhinestones from scrapbooking that perfectly match the cobalt blue I always use as an accent color on Ariel, so now he has all the facial piercings I've been thinking about giving him! We're doing a test run since once the weather's evened out I want to give him a new face-up, but I'm liking them so far. He's definitely keeping the labret and the eyebrow piercing, but I'm not entiiiirely sold on the nose stud. The smallest rhinestone (the same size I used for the other piercings) just looks a little too big on his nose. We'll see. I'm liking it I just wish it was smaller.

Once I've got this Waloli-ish outfit for him done I may experiment with his right ear, the one that only has one lobe piercing. There's been a lot of discussion of dolly industrial piercings...I'm tempted to try one. I'm just not sure how well it will work with the shape of the Sprite ear. We'll see how it goes. XD

...I live out my piercing dreams on this doll. XD Maybe I should do his belly button, too! ANd I've been telling myself half the afternoon that I shouldn't try to give him corset piercings either, not when I'm finishing this outfit with an actual one.

My mom has been converted partially to the hobby. She told me when she went to the store she was looking for Kelly dolls to mug and said that if we want Haruhi to have shoes and some clothes that'd be the best place to look..She even bought me a pack of Liv accessories that had a DVD player, shoes for Haruka, a slushie and a lollipop...The lollipop was Haruhi's size. She said if we don't have any luck here to just order them off ebay.

I finished Ariel's outfiiiiit! Well, nothing on his arms, I've been tossing ideas around for that and I'm still undecided as to which I'll go with, but otherwise it's dooooone! It's lined and everything, and he's got a corset/obi/thing, and I glued another rhinestone at the tip of his less-pierced ear. ...we're still waiting to see whether that one stays on but it looks great. He's so cuuuute! I can't wait to show it off at doll meet tomorrow, the fabric is from a sewing challenge. I'm pretty pleased with the result. I'm gonna take a bunch of pictures at club tomorrow because I've had trouble getting them to turn out well in my work area/the dining room.

Haruhi's new outfit is heeeere! And I made out like a bandit at the dollar store. Found a dress that fits my MH girls like a glove and a new dress for Haruka too. Not the best quality but for photo ops it'll do. Oh my god though Haruhi's witch outfit - Dying of cuteness.
