Augh, one of the fosters cats was just put down. The vet the shelter uses suspected the disease FIP which is incurable and just... Aaaauuuuugh. I hope scientists can find a cure or vaccine against it. It's so terrible >_<

Anyone here a member of SomethingAwful.com or another place that does humorous photoshops? I have a Roy Rogers kids book that would make great source images...

OK, so I come up with a "great idea" for a project back in the summer the requires me to locate multiples of a particular 1/6 scale helmet. I spend months looking for said helmet to no avail. The helmet becomes available at Justice Fighters a few weeks ago at a good price and in more than sufficient quantity to meet my needs, so I even buy a few extra. I get my package a few days later and everything is fine with my order. I test the fit of the helmets on some figures intended to wear them and they fit fine but somehow seem wrong to me. I assemble a test figure, plop on the helmet and I'm still not feeling it. I leave the completed guy on the shelf for a few days and the overall effect just falls flat somehow. It's not the just the helmet I'm unhappy with but the whole completed test figure.

Well, damn...! :?

The saga of the borked Toralei- I chatted with a Mattel agent and they were willing to take her back and exchange her except they don't have any in stock to replace her with and offered me a voucher. So I thanked them for my help and said I'd keep her for customization and look for a replacement to buy. I'd rather have a one legged Toralei than none.

Now it's off to look for the super glue and if you ever have a problem with a Mattel product feel free to contact them.

I cannot stop petting my Hujoo Dana. I actually feel like I'm just borrowing her and later this week I'll have to give her back. Me not used to having one this big. Wow.... I have no idea where she's gonna fit on my shelf... oh dear.

I still have problems putting down my MSD girls, maybe it's something about their omg cuddly size?
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

I thought I had an extra $40 in my checking account... but upon inspection of my online statement, my latest charge to Amazon has disappeared. :| This should be interesting.

DIsappeared as in Amazon took it or in that it's no longer a hold amount? I pre ordered Smallville season 10 so long ago I forgot about it until Amazon took the money out. Good thing I still had it.

For some reason, I can't seem to remember a hanbok I saw my family members wore that had a pretty color combination. (Weird drab green skirts...that took up more than half of the wearer because of its high waisted poofiness) This means I now have an excuse to get multiple pairs for my dolliehs- to see what I like XD Okay, that was lame.
The ever growing wishlist: Hujoo Dana, Obitsu 40, and an army of other Obitsus with anime style heads.
The more expensive end of my wishtlist: Limhwa Half Elf and Elfdoll Soah, my dream dolls.
