I survived heavy class loads by sucking down protein shakes between class. Not terribly tasty at times, but it was quick and lasted the hour.

My husband and I had plans for the day, out running errands and doing fun stuff, but I got hit with a lesser version of the stomach bug I got a couple of weeks ago and it completely ruined the day. I feel better now, but drained. And awake.

Bah, more doctor stuff. Some of the things doctors do should be illegal. The doctor just literally cut me off of a medication that is extremely dangerous to do that with, and I've been sick as a dog with mange ever since. I'm putting in a complaint to the state board, that's how bad this doctor is, but the catch 22 is that he's the only doctor who has taken me in because of my age. Apparently 25 is too young to have degenerative disc disease even though my MRI results showed discs that are so dessicated they won't even "ping" on the MRI. Plus I have some mysterious disease (either lupus or early onset rheumatoid arthritis) that keeps making me show up as a false positive for lyme disease. I'm NOT a happy camper right now. :(

MC, 25 is not at all too young for degenerative disc disease. Although it wasn't properly diagnosed until I was in my early thirties, that's what I've suffered from since about my mid-twenties. This is an area I trusted my chiropractor over my doctor. Especially since he diagnosed my "Cervical Kyphosis" of the neck when I was only 18 - which was corrected with a short series of adjustments instead of the spinal tap that my regular doctor wanted to do!

I'm fairly sure that maybe starting a new anti-depressant as the same time as a heavy duty antibiotic was a bad idea. being at work today will be fun. yesterday was. it went really fast.

on the upside, working at a nursing home means conversations with coworkers about gross personal problems is fairly common and comes with helpful tips on making sure it clears up.

*grumbles* Just woke up. Rolled over and my phone fell off my bed and I cracked the screen. It has the freaking Otterbox case on it that is supposed to protect it from shit like this. I think I am just going to go back to sleep.

<----Apparently even though my discs are all dried and funky they "can't be hurting me". I need to get an EMG done pronto though, and they're testing me for a bunch of auto immune stuff since my protein levels are up. Thanks for the info though Kirahfaye. :)

Oh, also, Sux: ANOTHER DAY SPENT AT THE EMERGENCY ROOM. *BRB SLITTING WRISTS NOW* The only non sux is I lucked out and got an awesome doctor who didn't minimize my pain. I feel like sticking my boot up my PM doctor's ass.

Apparently my 50th Anniversary 5" Other Doctor action figure was delivered late last night or very early this morning. One of the dogs opened the shipping box and carried the Doctor in to the house to begin to chew on him. The outer plastic case is cracked and a loss but the Doctor himself is fine. Pics later when I get good light.

One of my cats is waiting for blood test results after losing a lot of weight suddenly. After losing both a dog and a guinea pig to old age in the last month, I feel sick thinking of losing Lucy.

<---Aww, I'm sorry sweetie. It's always hard losing our furry family members. It's been almost three years since I lost my last one but it was sudden and gut wrenching and completely unexpected. When your cat is only four you feel cheated. I hope everything works out! Sometimes cats can be finicky health wise, I hope it's something that can be corrected with medication. *Hugs*
