My Iplehouse Benny is in the Metroplex. I will be able to pick her up at the Post office tomorrow, if they don't catch me at home this afternoon. But, there is no excitement for her. I am more excited about the Dorothy dress i am making to give away in the JID swap than the doll herself. She has a wig and underwear, but no shoes and I have made her no clothes. I have created patterns for her, but no fabric has been cut. She may be just too big for me. Unless there is a serious spark, she will be for sale soon. I could buy Planet Doll mini boys and a lot of obitsu for what she cost me. If she was 27cm I would have winced at the price, but there would be no question of whether or not I would keep her.

I've been looking into replacing my black cap because it's now this dark brownish color now from years of outdoor wear. Unfortunately, every black cap I liked and tried on were all too big for my head. Curse this tiny head of mine... =_=

I suppose it's time to go check out the caps in the children section, then...

Guess which ride this is at Disneyland!
Image

Hints
1 This is with all the lights on because it's broken down, so this part is usually much darker with effects going on, there is a pretty much identical part at it's twin in Florida
2 It was added in the 70s and has nothing to do with a movie
3 It's one of the rides people "have" to go on
4 It's broken before and although to my knowledge no one has ever died on it but not too long ago the entire ride had to be redone because it wasn't doing well

Oh, I know! It's the one I refused to go on after standing in line for an hour. I couldn't put Disneyland and roller coaster together in my mind until I was close enough to see people being strapped in and whizzed off.

We've gone on it every time we've been there before without problems. In my history of amusement parks this is the first ride I've been on that has ever broken down. And to Disneyland's credit only 2 rides to my knowledge broke and caused injuries while people were riding and not doing anything to cause the problem (we had the carousel stop 3 times because of an arse's inability to understand stand inbetwen not infront of the horses), the old Dumbo and Thunder Mountain. They are very safe, cameras and hidden ride operators everywhere, and ones like this one have different breaking and safety zones. That yellow thing on the track could be part of that. Think about the earthquakes we have out here that have never caused a single theme park problem as they have to be designed to withstand them.

Is that what its called? Its all spacey and the line is ridiculously long for a 2 minute ride?

Yup, Space Mountain. We took pictures infront of the entrance while holding our Fast Passes, I'm all about pictures this time around, so had we not stopped to do that our car might have made it to the end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9z3_G_YZfI Unless they borked gravity. It was actually interesting, never been on a stuck ride before.

This is the final turn that leads to the tunnel that starts the climb to the top. Suddenly the lights came on and we came to a gentle stop. I thought is was to let someone with a mobility challenge get on or off. What has me scratching my head is what the thing in the track is with the extra boxy part, break? Sensor? What?

For the past few days, I've been tempted to bring the Baron back... as a female doll.

Not that I have any idea of what sculpt to go with.
