Never had anyone to play DnD or CCG games with. All I have left is Sailor Moon, which I would gladly part with if it didn't weigh a ton to ship, and Star Trek. Can't even think if I still have that early DnD box. The only book I ever got, outside of Sailor Moon, was the d20 Call of Cthulhu but I sold it and something called the Necronomicon for doll money.

On the other side I started watching the Led Zeppelin Celebration Day DVD. Five years later and they're still playing In My Time of Dying...

Actually - in the line of board games the Discworld, Ankh-Morpork game is brilliant! Like less-arguey monopoly, and far more interesting - depending on your character the winning conditions differ completely, and of course you have to sabotage everyone elses attempts!
Crazy Mulitverse Crew: Drax, Jareth, Jerome, Elrana Milenkova, The Thin White Duke, Vasily Lupandin, Ramin Aiphos, Theta Sigma, Aiko Koyame, Lord Havelock Vetinari, Dr Nicholas Rush, Anon., Nyta Kinall, Otto Kreiner, That Demon, Sasu, Yaya, Ombre
...reshelling Szesil Markowski and Garan Idasson

I never played D&D, but I own the BESM Tenchi Muyo! guide ('cause it's Tenchi and in English, and that is always a rare combination) that's played like D&D, I think. Neither hubby nor me would even know where to begin even if we had the time to play.
I did love the Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! TGCs when I was in middle school though. :D I think I still have most of my YGO cards somewhere.

We're going to go see the Hobbit next week, and I think I never should have checked out the reviews. :( I loved the book (more so than LOTR), and was really excited, but now I'm not so sure. :?

Sometimes you have to say #$%! reviews, so it has a lot of walking and it's a visit New Zeland commercial? If you like the stuff then you know what you're in for and you're going to have a good time. Not like you're expecting boobies and explosions.

Because of the release of the hobbit, Dutch TV broadcast the LOTR movies again, and just yesterday I said to my boyfriend, 'They should have kept those sets intact." I'm sure people will actually travel to New Zealand because of those movies and I for one would love to see the Shire or Minas Tirith in real life.

I think I'll go crawl back under my rock now with the other dinosaurs...

We can ride the stegasaurus together. I still play D&D on a regalur basis. Just my husband as the DM and me. No groups, although I wouldn't mind, but it just easier to get together two people rather than trying to work around 5 or so other peoples schedules.

My husband wants you to know that some dinosaurs still play that way. He recently finished painting his female half-orc miniature (although I don't know if you can tell it's a female - it is an orc after all) for a gaming group he joined a few months ago. It's a region wide group so he gets to play with different people a lot.

My halfling thief morphed into my first resin doll-Bramblerose-but I liked her better as a D&D character. These days I play http://cf-vanguard.com/en/. I have a Mermaid deck. :D You can play online, but I haven't tried it yet.

Some of them are still there! I have a friend who went to a university right around where they built the Shire and they had Hobbit walks and everything :)

Two days, TWO DAYS and I already want doll versions of all of my toons on WoW (that's about 30, but there's only maybe ten I really want) And all this talk of D&D made me think of my old tabletop chars that would make great dolls...Dang it, I really need to start saving for dolls again. *starts planning character sculpts*

hehe... I bought a doll for that but never made my DK. /sigh. There's a thread on DoA that's all about WoW dolls. Some of them are really impressive. One of the Blood Elves has the most epic eyebrows.
