Your life as you once knew it is over.

LOL - that all depends. I need to find out how easy it is to find clothing, etc., for a 58cm doll as opposed to a 60-62 cm doll.

Whoo-hooo! I just got a Shipping Notice from Unidoll -- my new big boy is on his way! This will be a challenge, since he's coming "un-assembled".... (and of course, unpainted). He's an Ark -- the scowling fellow with the big pointed ears. I guess I'd better figure out where to put him now... and find him something appropriately troll-ish to wear...

Congrats, Janet! I didn't know they still had Ark's available - I thought he was being discontinued. I remember a frantic run on his head over at DoA a few months ago.

You are gonna Loooooooove Uni's posing. Seriously. They are rock solid. Best male body I ever had was the Uni Berkut I won, and I would never have swapped his body to Nancy if he hadnt been two darn big. I don't mind one 70 over with the elves, since they are all different sizes anyway, but 70 in with the SWC dolls is a not happening.

I saw the notice about them discontinuing Ark (and others) back in January, and took advantage of their "uncombined" special -- that special is still going on, but it looks like the Ark head is no longer available. (Both males and females included). "Uncombined" means he comes un-assembled -- you get all the parts and the elastics, etc. but Assembly Is Required. (which I suspect will be a real adventure....)

I have wanted an Ark for a long time -- I like the fantastical dolls, most of them are beautiful... but he looked dangerous. And I've seen Nancy's Unidoll body, and he is a HUNK.

And he's perfect for a character I have in mind... I am really looking forward to getting him together! :D

I traded my DG Beau for a BBB Ophelia :3 now I has a Babylon and Atlantis isn't alone. Though he looks like he is regretting asking for his big sister. She's already teasing him.

My Custom House Ange Ai's are on their way! I haz tracking number! Woohoo! *finger twitches over checkout button for Jpop wig sale*

EDIT - My CH girls are here! They were delivered this afternoon before I left for work! They stand and pose right out of the box and while there is a bit of a seam issue, it's almost inconsequential. I'm going to bring them to the next meet-up and have their seams looked at to see if it's even worth the risk to sand them down. Next up for them, faceups - and a quazi-gender change for one of them (their bodies are non-gender).

On top of that, I just put a PlanetDoll mini Riz on layaway (from the Marketplace). I couldn't resist the price - and I'll have her next month!

My Mei, Lorilei should be coming home from her spa vacation soon. The lady who is doing her faceup should finish up her full body blush this weekend. Then, she will get restrung and kipped at the doll meet-up in a couple of weeks.

Now, if I can just get Emory to email me back with the pricing details on my future 58cm doll . . . .

My hubby finished the chainmaille vest for my little 27cm boy. It's perfect! He's so talented... and spoils me. ^_^

My daughters' spring break was over today and after 9 days of uninteruppted family bliss, I was alone today!

OoooooOooooo . . . . . what is that like? I started homeschooling my daughter this year so I haven't had many "alone" moments lately.
