Do you know what a blinking turn signal means? That it works. XD

Pft apparently not. Oh, it's blinking, it must be broken. No point in using it then!

I live in Walla Walla, Washington. I love it here, but it looks like we won't be here much longer. :(

All I could think of was this:

I'm 15 mins away from Gift_in_Edge, thankfully I live in the actual Champaign proper which has (when the university is in session) about 100,000 people. Champaign is where the U of I is located and while it has all the luxuries of a larger metropolis, some times it is annoying because a lot of those are on campus, which is also known as "an area I avoid when the stupid uni kids are here to do things like jump in front of my moving car". But overall I definitely like it, it's got more trees per square mile the most cities, and I don't have to drive an hour to get "cross town". Now if only I had a doll shop here and not 2 hours away... I'd be set.
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

I live near Silver Spring, Maryland... aaaand I am not at all an east coast girl. ^^;; I didn't actually choose to move back here, but at least I'm finally relatively financially stable and on my own again. The cold winters with definite chance of much snow and hot, humid summers are no fun. No likey humidity! But I have internets and dollies so it could be worse. It's pretty difficult to promote the area I live when I myself want to move out. XD I did have the option at one point... sort of... to move notably further away but it was a huge gamble and probably actually outside the ability of my funds at the time. I changed plans and decided to think about moving more locally to a better neighborhood at the very least. For now I'm still in the apartment I landed via housing voucher almost two years ago, and have been able to attend a doll meet a few times though my ride's van is currently dead.

Here where I live, it gets cold in winter, but generally in early mornings and at night. I have lived here since end 2002, and we have had snow once. Its the first time I have seen snow fall.

Ive never not seen the snow fall in winter. I jump between Pittsburgh and Canton Ohio. Trying to get to art classes at the bottom of a slippery, ice and snow covered hill is always interesting. I'm still debating whether i should have brought a sled or not!

I'm really enjoying the descriptions many of you are giving of the places you live. I live and work in Calvert County Maryland, USA. I was born and raised here too.

Calvert county is a peninsula between the Chesapeake Bay and the Patuxent River. It's 35 miles long and 9 miles wide at it's widest point. There is only one county between us and Washington D.C.

Population is about 88,000. That's about 4 times what is was when I was born. I've seen several tobacco farms become housing developments. We still have farms, some switched to growing corn. During the last decade there was a project to help the remaining tobacco farmers switch to growing grapes for wine. I don't know if that is still running or not.

What else can I say about my county? We have a marine museum. And a nuclear power plant. It's possible to find fossilized sharks teeth on our beaches.
