I know, but my objection to it is that I'd have to be injected with a chemical that's not supposed to be there.

I am really trying not to be cruel, here, but if what is wrong with you has the potential to be fatal, do YOU really have the right to put your family through the horror and guilt of your death just because you didn't want an injection?

And if you are trying to avoid "chemicals in your body that aren't supposed to be there" then you had better:

Stop eating anything that comes in packaging of any sort
Stop eating anything that was ever sprayed with a pesticide or treated with an herbicide
Stop eating any meat that is not certified organic
Stop breathing except through a gas/particulate/microbe mask
Stop drinking any water that is not filtered by reverse osmosis
Never take any medicine of any sort

Because that is the only way you are going to avoid chemical contamination.

I have to write a three-page paper on the movie "Do the Right Thing." Problem is I don't have a very strong opinion on it. At most my opinion is "I don't know." And, yeah, it's due tomorrow.

Could you write about how it doesn't relate to you and you generally "don't get it" and would never have watched it except you were assigned to? I can think of things I'd rather do, starting with dental work, then see some movies.

I would like to, but the point is to write an extended(sure is, three pages is about a thousand words) analysis. I think I would get a 'D' or so if I just wrote about how I didn't like the movie.

When I was in high school, I got a C- for doing that on a paper about Gone With the Wind

But if you pointed out all the reasons WHY you didn't like the movie, why you didn't relate to it, etc... you might get points. I always tell my students they don't have to like the artwork/artist, I hate Picasso's work and most Modern Art; but tell me WHY. Might work.
