The computer thing is rather funny. My laptop once died and wouldn't give me the log in screen no matter how many times I restarted, so finally I punched the darn thing and it booted up normally. Believe me when I say I backed up all my files as quickly as I could and replaced the hard drive. Violence CAN be the answer.

I lived in NJ very briefly when I was younger. And in Rockland County NY, which is right on the border. I miss the North East. -le sigh-

My fiance and I are talking about moving out to Colorado. But it's just talk, for the moment. I want mountains around me again, even if the NE mountains are barely hills compared to the Rockies.

I swear if someone walked up and offered me what this house is worth we would be out of the country in a flash. Probably one of the spots in South America where there are sweet deals for US retirees, and all the infrastructure is in place like fast net. If I am going to live in hot conditions, I'd like it to be someplace that is not in a drought--and one where my parrots could live in outdoor cages year round.

As it is, we took a $9000 hit - but are still coming up about $4000 up from what we paid. Not great... But it pays for the move pretty much. :/
