More annoying than anything else but I noticed that I have a stye on my right eye while getting ready for work today. Since i work with my eyes primarily it was just annoying. Now i'm just resting it and wondering why my 'i' key doesn't want to capitalize.

Everything just finally caught up with me today. I don't know how I can possibly do everything they want me to unless I have more time to do it. I need to talk with my principal about getting some more prep periods next semester... -__-;

I got two days off for being sick, this morning my boss called and I cheerfully told her that I was feeling much better and that I'd definitely go back to work tomorrow, and now I feel shivery and feverish again -_-

Eating cheese when you have a dairy allergy and then drinking large quantities of 100% fruit juice make for a very uncomfortable intestinal situation.

I'm just sayin'.

DUH!!!!
Do it enough times and you won't be tempted anymore.

And I don't have a mouse problem. I have five cats. I actually have more of a cat problem at this point...

My mouth hurts T__T

Wisdom teeth are bullies, shoving the other teeth around...

The upper left side is where the last one is coming in... the pain isn't really BAD, it's just a constant annoying ache. >_> I know, I should probably get that looked at... a dentist would most likely be horrified by what's in my mouth...
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

omfg I could kill him.

My man just blurted out how much my dolls cost in front of one of his buddies. And the first question is "so you could sell them on ebay for that kind of money?"

Like....wtf. Now I need to get something to lock them in. That shit is not ok.

magkelly wrote:You need a few cats that like to mouse in the house for a few weeks. My friend had an infested apartment so I took my one cat who was an amazing mouser over there and let her at it. She caught dozens first night and did the same for almost a week thereafter. Not too long after that the mice just left. It was like they got the word out and vamoosed. Even after we'd take her over with us every week or so and let her prowl there for a day and it still worked like a charm. The mice in the rest of the building could smell her in there I guess and they totally avoided the place. But it has to be a cat that kills a few. It only seems to work with a real mouser. My male cat he's not a hunter beyond batting at some string and most animals that get in here know that. My girl is the one they run screaming from. Him? He'd probably just let one lie between his paws and nap....

yeah, my aunt has a cat that is a good mouser and she offered to let us borrow it, but both my mother and I are extremely allergic to cats. Once I tried to spend the night at a friend's house and she even cleaned her room and change her sheets, but my allergy kicked up so bad that I couldn't breathe if I laid down and my eyes were running like I was crying, so I had to go home in the middle of the night. My mother didn't used to be allergic, but about 10 years ago she just suddenly became like me. Weird body chemistry change.

I think we might have actually gotten rid of all the mice now. Haven't seen or heard any sign of them in the last 2 days. *crosses fingers*

It's weird... we've lived here for 22 years and never saw a single mouse till a year and a half ago. Then we had one. Then like a year later we had 3 or 4. Then this year we had at least 6.

happyknot wrote:This is a lame suck but I'd rather have it than the serious sucks: browsing DOA marketplace and three things struck me as depressing.
1 - dolls which used to be sought after and which commanded a good price even when they were still available are being sold for a fraction of their original price and they just sit there, some for months. (Domuya Forest Keeper I am looking at you!)
2 - despite these dolls being high on my wishlist when they first came out, I no longer want them so I am watching these great deals pass by. (After watching Antique Roadshow I also often wonder will these treasures regain their value with time? With the market saturation, values are going down. It's just so shocking to me still.)
3 - I saw a beautifully modded body for the cheaps and I have a head here which would make such a fascinating hybrid but I promised myself no more doll stuff after my monster high purchase. I bookmarked it though. =s

ug I feel for you... it's so hard to resist things sometimes. Fortunately nothing that I really desire ever seems to come up as a good deal in the marketplace. But even those things waaaay low on my wishlist are tempting sometimes.

What I don't understand is why people sell dolls that are still currently available from the manufacturer for MORE than what a brand new one costs. And yeah, I'm considering faceup or no and shipping costs, and most of them even have yellowing and/or damages. I can't believe there are so many people doing it. I wonder how many people actually buy them... Only reason to I suppose is so you don't have to go through the wait. Or if a company's older resin is better than the current one?

umm.... ouch! I've done similar things so I can't judge hehe.

Hope you feel better soon so you can enjoy your good news :( I still can't quite get out of this rut myself. Been quite a while, so I'm forcing myself to do things at this point.

omg... yeah seriously, what the hell was he thinking?! I would definitely be worried too especially with the quality of friends and roommates it sounds like he's bought around in the past.
