My man just blurted out how much my dolls cost in front of one of his buddies. And the first question is "so you could sell them on ebay for that kind of money?"

Like....wtf. Now I need to get something to lock them in. That shit is not ok.

If you cant trust these people not to come into your house and steal, why is he friends with them?

Because he's an oblivious idiot and likes to think the best of people. -sigh- I love that he sees the good but it's just... argh! Why? Do you not have a brain to mouth filter?

And I'm apparently the paranoid one because I'm worried he's going to steal them.

I'm paranoid as all hell, myself. just keep your dolls out of sight, like in a bedroom when the person is over. if they dont know where the valuables are the less likely they can successfully steal them.
Instagram makes me a better photographer, rite? LOLZ. Siggie under construction.

Okami, maybe you could try writing your name on the inside of your dolls' heads; that way, if they are stolen theres a better chance of your getting them back.

Today I found out that my English teacher has died. :( That's why each time I visited my school she wasn't there. She was ill at the beginning of school year and I never got to see her after finishing school this spring. :(

I'm that paranoid about people in my apartment complex. I'm always trying to make sure no one can see into my apartment (difficult because of my location in the building) expecially the damn kids!

One of my co-workers said "Oh I bet the kids just love your dolls" and I'm like "HELL NO - I don't let the little buggers even LOOK at my dolls!!!"

That would make me pretty paranoid too and talking about the cost of someone else's hobby isn't too nice neither.
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.

Ugh. Applied for a position within the company I work at, sort of an upgrade from where I've been for the past ten years. Off the floor killing myself running the machines, and into an office working with computers and stuff (full training included). Just found out today that someone else was given the job due to being there longer than me. Shit. I kind of expected that, but at the same time I am SO. EFFING. SICK. OF. MY. JOB. I used to love being an operator, before everyone in management went stupid on me.

Guess it's time to start considering looking for work outside the company. But I'm not leaving until I get at least one year of the three weeks vacation I spent the past five years waiting for! I've EARNED that extra week, I'm damn well taking it!

Took over the treasury position for my son's school...it's a nightmare  Last year's treasurer must have been high or something; there's three years worth of crap in here and none of it is organized OR computerized. There's one check left in the book, the ledger is completely unreadable and somehow they lost two checks from parents that I have to track down. What hot mess have I gotten myself into this time :?

My microwave died. 29 years of loyal service. Yes, twenty-nine years. I've had it for longer than I've known my husband. They don't make them like that any more. Most people I know have to replace their microwave every 2-3 years because all the make is junk now. Sigh :( . I'm so not looking forward to that. I've done some research on recs and Consumer Reports, but because I live in the boonies, I will have to settle for what I can find locally.

Good luck. :/ Do you live in the bush? Maybe somewhere in Anchorage will ship a good one. (I grew up in Alaska, we had to do that a few times.)
