So Grandma died at the end of November, my cousin's dog (which I love dearly) was put down this month. And now my golden retriever is really showing his age and probably won't be around long.

A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

So, a Renaissance Festival in the middle of the desert already has one strike againt it - but throw in a Renaissance Festival in the middle of the desert during a freaking massive dust storm and it REALLY sucks. Oh, and be sure and attend it with someone who has been to more ren-faires than she can count and is, therefore, jaded by all the entertainment and you seriously have to wonder why you spent good dollieh money on tickets.

But it won't let me instantly transfer money. Seriously, I could not click on that option. I was force to send an electronic check.

Today I log in to send money to a friend whose cat is having medical problems... and I have the option to instantly transfer money. And I find out the stupid electronic check will not get to SetsunaKou until the 24th.

What the heck? Seriously, over a WEEK for this, PayPal?

All this crap is making me look like an irresponsible person, and messing up a group order. PayPal, you suck.

Ah HA! So it's YOUR fault! :x :x :x

Kidding aside, I agree that it seems like a ridiculously long wait for an electronic transfer. You could've sent the payment in gold coins by carrier pigeon and it would've gotten there faster.

I have a similar gripe against my bank and the fact that an electronic transfer from one account to the other (within their own system) takes 2 or 3 days to post. Again, it's faster to just take the cash out of one account and physically deposit it into the other.

Yeah, Things get harder as we get older. It's not just the bills and the responsibility but that everyone else is getting older too and it happens all at once. Uncles, cousins, aunts and cats here on this end. (My cousins are all about 20-30 years older than me.)
Sending you support and hugs.
