Well, so far so satisfied with the case. The other side did show up and according to the family pretty much agreed they broke our car. The verdict won't be for a few days though, the way the judge works, so it's time to hope for justice for good people.

For those who don't know basically we went to our neighbor's repair shop for a minor thing which turned in to breaking our engine/putting it in their minivan.

Depends on the degree of professional and the job.

For the office: Black, grey, navy suits, blazers, slacks, paired with blouses, shells, etc. I only wore primary colors when I worked. Suit and vest, 3 piece pants/skirt suits. Sensible pumps, feminine but not sleazy. Don't wear mannish shoes, it just looks tacky. When I worked I wanted my clothes to scream "money" so I bought just a few name brand pieces that could mix and match into multiple outfits.

Business casual: khaki slacks, button ups, can be tucked or untucked (but only if fitted.) Nice blouses can be feminine but not overly girly or frilly. Nobody takes girly-girls seriously in business. Sad but true. I never did like business casual though, it's frustrating and ill-defined.

When I worked I always wore power suits and crap that made me look like I was the boss. Nothing gives confidence like a sleek, well-fitted suit. Match your handbag to your shoes if you can, and your briefcase/satchel. I always wanted my leathers to match up.

Back when Casual Corner and Petite Sophisticate were in business it was easy to buy work clothes with fully matched groups. I don't work anymore so I don't know what stores cater to business women. Bloomingdales, Macys, etc. usually have a corporate/business section.

You can google stuff like this, colleges sometimes offer tips and what not for students ready to venture into the work-world.

You can wear a red dress if it looks like this and is accessorized properly. For interview wear a black same-fabric blazer/suit jacket over it.

Little belt is super cute and makes everything look more fitted. Jewelry is uber conservative.

I'd say NO on the shoes though, platforms are ... eh, pushing it. Wear them after you get the job but not to the interview? Maybe I'm being overly-guarded.

Basically everything about work clothes has to be conservative.

Love this dress! If you don't like suits, for an interview you could wear something like this but with a jacket over it. The jacket has to match color to the trim. And your fabrics need to match too. I always made sure my fabrics and blacks matched. There are too many shades of black out there and it's annoying. That's another good reason to find a specialty store that carries matching units of clothes, their blacks always match, they use the same fabrics so you match there. Great stuff, that.

Cute suits!

this is really cute and a little more casual but still good for work. Probably not for an interview but it's nice for every day work wear.

this is close to what I have, except its red with white dots on the skirt with a matching top with white trim.
my biggest problem is there's no where to get clothes around here cept walmart and kmart, so I'll stop by walmart to see if I can find a nice button up blouse and jacket. I'd have to drive about an hour to find somewhere with a specialty shop.. not that I can afford it yet. once I get the job I'll get better clothes.

Wal-mart does have a professional section. George brand will be your best bet. They have pencil skirts and button up blouses. You can get a matching jacket and cute pumps.

This skirt would work with a fitted button up top and a cute jacket.

I showed off Finn in his sweater to my mum and told her that I think the shirt was made for a Ken doll. The sleeves are too long but more importantly, the shoulders and chest are far too broad. My mum said it was because "It's a shirt for a man doll, not a boy doll". XD That made me laugh but it is true.
