*squees* So basically my first 60cm Obitsu has had horrid, horrid shiny face for five-ever and while I hadn't had the heart to wipe him, I just wanted to make his face matte. And with all of my pony customs I've decided to try this new spray on matte sealer, which has made about 10 of my customs nice and matte.
So on a whim, I decided to spray Evan's face with the stuff and ahhhhhh. It's such an amazing difference seeing his face all matte now, and it's sorta making me kinda wanna play with my BJDs despite losing interest 2+ years ago, haha.
I'm pretty chuffed that Tamiya Flat Clear works pretty well for all sorts of customizing and it's available at my local hobby store hee.
(Also turns out keeping a rubber band on an Obitsu head to keep the wig from shifting melts pretty grossly into the head after awhile, yuck)
