Missed this. XD I ordered an Iplehouse Leona in Peach Gold skin. I'm thinking I may have preferred the special real skin because the character I'm thinking for her is supposed to be darker skinned than the boys. Ah well. I know she will be lovely anyway. <3 And I can always get the boys in white and normal skin so they are paler. If I ever have the money to get them. XD

My financial aid came through with three days to spare. There's even some left over to help with some bills. Hopefully there will be a little play money in there for me as well.

This first week of classes has been really tough (calculus and organic chem, why!), but I'm heading home for the weekend, which means I can face up my new DiM boy, and also apparently my new laptop and my Impl order both arrived today! Whoo!

I scored some cool stuff yard sailing today! I found a sweet winter coat that has shear inside it and there was a sale where all the money they made went to a bird rescue.

My mother, who broke her hip and shoulder in February, had back surgery in May and then hip surgery again in July, is recovering so well. She's so strong and I am SO FRIGGIN PROUD of her. Last night my boyfriend celebrated his birthday but she said a few weeks ago that she wouldn't be able to come - we live in an apartment building without an elevator. BUT SHE DID COME. I took pictures as she was climbing up the stairs. My mother is amazing. <3 Her presence last night was such a big deal to me. I'm tearing up again writing this.

We brought home our new puppies today! Meet Cola and... his brother who has no name. Cola is the white puppy.
