Heh heh. I was nearly Soomed! For their next MD, they posted a tiny, pale gray 1/6 MALE Faery Legend doll. I rarely visit the Soom site but I saw a thread on DOA and then the pic and was all OMG MEWANTS! :o

That lasted about a week. And then Soom finally posted prices up and that was when MEWANT said "PHWAhahaaaa! Yeah, RIGHT, I've seen sold out Luts ELVES in the marketplace for less than THAT", and it promptly waved bye-bye and climbed out the window.

Whew! Saved.

(But Puck is still insisting he needs his brother home. Whom he hates, because it was Auriel who got him cursed and stuck in a magic pendant for the rest of his life. And he wants him around WHY? )

Even though I have an adorbale Elise centaur trotting home to me in June and my Rosette School of Dolls Wings of Tomorrow Violet in the middle of May, I started watching Legend of the Seeker again with my husband and I want to make a Mord'Sith doll SO BADLY >.< I picked out the perfect doll for her (EID Iplehouse lady--noms!) and just got some good news that something I've been trying to sell for YEARS might have found a buyer. It would give me more than enough to splurge on an Iplehouse order AND commission her full outfit... But I have TWO dolls on their way home right now! :? I'd feel like such a spoiled jerk for buying yet another one right now. So even though I can technically afford it, I feel like I'm using up a whole lot of dolly karma all at once. I feel like the right thing to do would be to space them out... That way I can focus on each one's homecoming more...
At Home: Abernathy (VW Odette); Deathbunnie (Soom Cuprit); Lunarflare (Soom Cuprit MD); Onyxia (Soom Heliot girl); Salandria (RS Mei); Tinker Bell (Luts Ani); Zorro (CD Wong)
Waiting: Zoe Bell (WoT Violet)

I current own nothing larger than 1/6, but Nangong here is sorely tempting me. I am in love with that face. If only it was smaller...

I now have 5 that have names and faces... just not a home at my house yet:

-Aedelle, a Bobobie Rachael. I will be getting her at the end of May, I have to wait until after school gets out for the year so that I’m not totally distracted.
-The Doctor a Dollshe Bernard (he will be THE Doctor, the last of the Time Lords, and the man from Gallifrey.)
-Esme a YuHao Luo Ji (Bumped to 3rd doll, going to try and make getting the doctor second a reality.)
-Astrid a Luts Lu-wen Dreaming (I actually only want his head, I want it modded so it’s open eyes and I’d actually put it on a girls body. Looks better that way imo.)
-Nia a Dikadoll Lola (Definitely going to be later in the dolls I want get list, she’s way out of my price range at the moment.)
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

laughs....almy are they on the way are is this your wish list. When they have names, they eventually find their way home...I think DikaDoll normally has a 30% off sale around the holidays. I can vouch for their quality. Nice thick heavy resin. Heavier than my D.I.M. body. I like their sculpts too so maybe she'll come home sooner than you think.
Obitsu 27cm Meryl, Lilly, Rhea, Stacey, Llywen, Lara, Aili

He's so beautiful and a great price too. At 70cm he can be like Gulliver visiting the Liliputians

Speaking of needing new dolliehs.......
I'm looking forward to creating my two Little Pullip Obitsu hybrids. One of them, I have already decided, is a 10-year old who loved dolliehs. So, I went out shopping today for a dollieh... but... I couldn't choose... so I bought three XD.
Decided to take my 6" Pamela Love doll Lauren with me, and made a photostory :P

He would. He'd probably like it, too. since I only own... *counts* three boys, and countless girls.

Crap, I'm already giving him a personality in my head. Now he'll be even harder to resist.
