Tonight I watched....Ju-On The Grudge.

Not as scary as everyone I've seen on Youtube made it out to be. I was intrigued but too busy keeping track of the characters to be scared.

I kind of liked Ju-On because it more spooky then gore like most horror movies. The second one ruined the whole series when I realized that the mysterious wet stain on the ground that keeps showing up is a butt print. :(

Ring by Koji Suzuki is 100x better then the any of the movies based on it. The Dark Water book and the Japanese movie version of one of the stories from it is a very good too.
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.

I've watched that... I think things that scare Japan do not scare other people the same way...
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

It seems like Asian horror movies are more supernatural mindscrew and that Western ones are more gory. Or that's the impression I get from reading articles on horror movies, since I don't have the guts to actually watch some.
The ever growing wishlist: Hujoo Dana, Obitsu 40, and an army of other Obitsus with anime style heads.
The more expensive end of my wishtlist: Limhwa Half Elf and Elfdoll Soah, my dream dolls.

This one is said to be a bit better and different from most, don't read the summary because it does have an off the beaten path ending.

Yeah seems so. I mean the supernatural to people there is a way of life. If you piss off a ghost it's like pissing off a serial killer. Just not done...So movies like that make it big because of the legends.

I like supernatural stories and movies. The Shining is my all time favorite movie!

Awesome movie, and awesome book too. I watch a lot of horror movies, and I've seen quite a few of the Japanese ones(the Slit Mouthed Woman one I watched left me with a few nights of no sleep). They really do seem very different against Western horror.

Did anyone else think that JLo's outfit last night looked like some sort of female armor from any random MMORPG?
