guuuuhhhh..... I JUST got over bronchitus and an ear infection..... and now I have either a cold or the flu -.- been running 101 fevers the last few days... it's too bad new people only get 3 sick days, their first year... I ended up using one on friday... But it was kinda expected... the guy who sits next to me got sick..... and then making way for the new guy they moved us all down........... so I got put in the sick guy's desk. Niiccee goooinnnggg peopllleee.....
I wiped it down with those windex antibacterial wipes but I guess it wasn't soon enough/good enough

Time to do all the fun things about a web site, like taking pictures of the covers of a shelf full of doll related books. Looking at what I have I wonder what kind of recommendations Amazon would have going by the top 5 subjects I have by volume.
1 Star Trek TNG and DS9 books/mags
2 Dollhouse and miniature food making books mostly in other languages
3 Fashion history books
4 Illuminated manuscripts/calligraphy
5 Swan manga
I used to be somewhat amused by what Amazon thought I wanted by what I bought, or told it I already have other volumes or seasons of, then it got annoying, not in the buy Led Zeppelin's Mothership do you want the entire output of the Golden Dawn and anything about Magick but buy season 8 of one thing you want season 8 of everything. Or get one live DVD you want everything by every concert and stadium band from the 70s. Never ever ever let it know you want a manga because it'll think you want Naruto toilet paper.

Along similar lines as Itsaiya: Hubby Pat is having severe employer issues after his recent surgery and illness...

Pats wonderful employer, whom he has worked for for over 15 years, is refusing to help in any way with working out some leave time with pay. There's a new contractor in charge now. A few years ago when Pat had really severe pneumonia, and longer ago when I was going through surgeries, etc, he was able to get leave forwarded to him and go negative for a while, then just earn it back later. His professional status allowed for this. Not any more. He now has to fill out reams of paperwork just to be offered the opportunity and honor of not being fired while he's off on leave without pay, never even mind the forwarded leave stuff. It's absolutely incredible, and quite disgusting. Serendipitously, he had recently applied for another job right before the whole ruptured appendix thing happened (this is not the first nor only douchbaggery that's occurred with his current employer in recent time), and so far, things look good. He would SO love to tell those assholes to go fuck themselves with their tiny little penises.

Here's hoping and praying for the new job!!
