that's really interesting.
speaking of being a drop of cherokee, we were just discussing this in my family. XD we know my great-grandma was native, but looking at alot of other family photos, most of them were pretty dark for being "irish." to the point we're wondering how white we actually are or if the family kind of americanized and claimed to be white. the family is too dysfunctional to really get down to it tho.

Happy Samhain!!!! ^___^

Had fun at school today. A couple of us (teachers) decided we were dressing up, whether we were technically allowed to or not. I'm the art teacher, I have a reputation to uphold here! The kids loved it and that's all I cared about. ^_^

Because I'm very proud of my new costume...

WOOO, finished folding my laundry!!

Also, my character on Wartune has been doing more damage against enemies lately... people who don't play video games probably won't understand how amazing it feels to have visible proof that your character is getting stronger, but this is pretty exciting for me, especially since some bad decisions early on in the game made my character a weakling who was easily killed in player-versus-player battles.
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

small rejoice: Coming in to work yesterday I was told by the principal that they've never gotten so many positive comments about a substitute before. Definitely a nice little confidence boost!

big rejoice: My mother's home from the hospital! And it was her and my father's anniversary yesterday, so I'm glad she was able to be home and have a nice celebratory meal too.

Yay for subsitute teacher confidence boosts!!

Mine was when 12 year olds came up to me before they went home, thanking me for the day and saying I was the first fun substitute they'd ever had <3

And yay for your mother coming home :)

A small triumph for me - I made ginger molasses cookies and they are possibly the most exceptional I have ever made.
