My mom finally got released from the hospital last night! She's been there for 19 days straight. The dogs and everyone else are so happy she's back. Her lungs and vocal cords are still weak but recovering.

I did it! OH MAH GOD I DID IT!

Hey Boston peeps! (or thereabouts) Guess who's going to be in your neighborhood!

I got the transfer/promotion! Now, granted, I don't get the promotion itself until the new store opens, and even then, it's not set in stone, but I know I can prove what I'm made of. End of this month, beginning of next month, I'm moving to the Avon area of Massachusetts. My heart is still pounding, an hour later!

Things aren't going to be all sunshine of course, because this also means I'm going to be leaving my fiance... I'm not going to leave him out on his ass, but I'm also far too young to be tied to someone that doesn't give the same consideration to my feelings that I give to his, hurts me almost daily, and then says it's my own fault for being so sensitive. We're simply not compatible with one another anymore. Maybe we never were, and I was just too naive to know it.

But onward to better things!

Hahah uh.... cheapest area to live in the greater Boston metro area? XD

I'm still trippin about this. I mean, I've been packing and downsizing my collection of CRAP... speaking of, does anyone know how to tell the value of a bunch of quilting patterns? I have no idea what they are, or how old... just that I've had them in a box of fabric given to me. ~facedesk
