Red morning sailors warning,
Red night sailors delight.

That's what I've always heard. I don't know how accurate it is.

Hasn't rained on us yet today but we're nestled between mountains. Big Bear usually sucks up all our moisture. It's getting a bit foggy but doesn't smell like rain.

Had to stop myself from shopping for Freaky Freda, I already know what body she'll use so that isn't the problem, it was looking a the fat quarters and thinking they looked in line with classic 70s BLythe fabrics. Then I remembered my first rule which is what ever I buy I have to live with, and that I was just in my fabric and have plenty to get started with.

Why am I second guessing my purchase of my FL MNF? I've always heard how great they are as posers (like only Obitsu dolls pose better), but this guy has been re-strung by a friend (who spent a lot of time working on his right leg) and he's as kicky as the BBB Mei I had (something I wasn't told about when I bought him). And my dear AOD Wang Zi (which is the wrong facial sculpt for my character and I have for sale) stands like a dream . . . no pun intended!

And now JS has AOD Min (which is a good sculpt for my character) . . . Only I can't get him without selling one or both of my other MSDs first . . .

ARG! I hate being so indecisive!!!

I understand the indecisiveness! I started out planning a total of 4 dolls... that's now up to 6. Why? Because I couldn't decide on a girl, so now there are 2 instead. And I had one boy all planned out, only to have him tell me that the doll I'd just put on layaway "isn't me" and I got to figure out who he was! Out of the 6, there's only 2 I've never had any indecision on.

Frustrating, isn't it?

I was suppose to take the 3 eye-hole head dolls to a Mecha display at a nearby mall after lunch and I ended up taking the wrong bus and ended up on the express lane to town..... Which meant that I ended up at the Bylthe/doll store and found a pair of shoes that I was suppose to get for the one of the young Gretels.... Darn manuplatives dollies....

Daaaaang! That's a pretty cool looking display. I've never been a big fan of the mecha designs from Five Star Stories but that floating city/ island is really cool. It reminds me of an old sci fi book or book series where a number of cities were lifted from the Earth's surface using an anti-gravity device called a "Spindizzy".

James Blish, the "Cities in Flight" books.

Some of the group "Boston" were big fans of the series and four of their album covers show Spindizzy Cities (notably City Boston)

You know, I'd often wondered if Tom Scholz (Boston's musical mastermind) was a fan of that series, due to the similarity of the "Guitarships".

For some reason, I had a total brain fart with both the name James Blish and the "Cities In Flight" title.
