I'd thought the torrential rain and hail that hit on my way home from work was bad enough. And that the greenish yellowish tint to the sky was just a bit unsettling.

I just saw the pictures and footage southeast of here, up where a couple of my mom's cousins used to live. Shredded trees, missing roofs, there's a playhouse in the middle of someone's pool, heavy sports equipment tossed around like toys...we just don't get tornados around here that often, so it's always a bit shocking when it happens. I think the last actual tornado touch down, I was in high school still. I'm glad our cousins moved a few years ago, that area was one of the worst hit.

I don't like storms, they can really scare me sometimes. I'm glad I have a basement to hide in. :D
It's good to hear that you or your family didn't get harmed by the storm.

kirahfaye {{{hugs}}}}}} I new here and read about Loreli and the situation. That's awful and I can see why you are worried. I have that same nagging voice in the back of my head too at times. Our dolls are precious to us and if something like this happens, we worry, can't help it. But since she is a good standing DOA member, that less worry. I had the same thing happen to me with a swap, I did get my doll back finally. Keep us update HUN!!!!

Okay this is what peeves me to death.............our nasty wind and dolls I can't afford! grrrrrrr! lol (lot of love, not little old lady) ha!

That's scary! I've seen a tornado take down a barn before, but no flying cows! And this horrible wind we have today, I'm always afraid of having something fall on me :o

The home loan lender mislead us, so after wasting gas and time house hunting and starting to pack and having to put off doll projects because they might get scratched or broken in the move I have to go cause severe bodily injury to a few people while we stay in a house with sinking floors for however the **** long it takes for them to stop screwing us around, qualifying, and having this supposed loan go through. Nice version of it.

What really pisses me off is I've put off painting the bus, so it doesn't get scratched in the move, renovating the dollhouse, and building them some things like a music store and so forth because of the move >( don't spend money on doll projects, we need it to move crap. don't know what to believe. So I need to decide soon for myself how little faith I have in humanity and if I want to chance my doll projects or not.

DollyKim: Aw! Dolls are just like pets sometimes. They'll listen to your crap and won't judge you. I have a cute little dog figurine that's holding a sign that says "The more people I meet the more I love my dog." :)

Thanks, I am feeling better now, I've decided to put thoughts in to spoiling Jimmy and making the rest of his guitars from scratch, special clothes, and a case for him that looks like his Zoso stack. I know the dolls love everything I do for them. If I can get the sticker residue off the van, Magic Eraser and a sunny day is next, I think I'll just bite the bullet and paint it.

Other thinks that irritate is I bought myself a new art table but once it's together it doesn't come apart so I have to use my old crappy really needs replacing desk until then.

I wish it were warmer today, it hasn't gotten over 35 all day today. ...then I could have planted flowers for Annie. My elderly kitty passed away yesterday...I miss her so much. Eighteen years was too short.

*hugs* I'm sorry to hear that, and I so understand. My very first pet was a cat named D'artagnon and he was 19 1/2 when he passed on :( It seemed like no time at all.

What sucks for me is the special eyes and hair I've been waiting for came in. This sucks because the eyes are entirely the wrong ones, and the hair it not quite what it looked like on 3 different monitors. I've decided not to split hairs over the hair because it's close enough and I'm picky, but the eyes are completely wrong, like my order was mixed up with someone elses. So, my poor third doll must wait longer to see, but at least I can start on her wig. :(

On the bright-side, the eyes vendor has been a total sweetheart and is already working to resolve the issue.
