I feel your pain.

Maybe the only thing in my writing life that I am really, truly bitter about is that Stephanie Meyer has bags of money and rabid hordes of fans and I don't. I am HAPPY for Jo Rowling's success. I am ECSTATIC for Neil Gaiman. But Stephanie Meyer?

You have rabid fans, Misty - does that help?

My house got broken into again-TODAY! and they frigging destroyed my back door. The alarm was on and scared them off. They didn't take anything-but I can't lock my house. I want a gun. I am a Texan and it is my God given right to have a gun and maybe bear-traps.

Like wondering how VC Andrews books made it where they did. Blame society for trying to dumb down young women and hope that by starting with "stupid" books they'll like want to read something more intelligent. Kind of works that way with my sister, saw the Percy Jackson movie, read the books, and now is reading more about mythology and history.

When my project takes off I'll be needing good writers. As soon as Hollywood understands the character only works if the actor is 41, not 14 :/

That will happen about the time Hollowood (not a typo) understands that 22 year old actresses and 45 year old actors can't be married long enough to have teenage children - unless he was a major pedophile.

And that 28 year olds do not, in fact, look like actual high schoolers.

True, however actual high schoolers do try to look like 28 year olds! Well, the girls do anyway . . . .

A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

One time I went with my mom and brother to get him textbooks for college. After the lady helped my brother she turned to me and asked what books I needed. I told her I wasn't in college I just started the 8th grade. ;(
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.
