I just paid off a Luts Elf Lishe, 2006 version. I'd wanted her for years but she was always too expensive. I was browsing DOA marketplace one day and did a random search and there she was. For only $650??? Never, ever seen one for under $900. So I took the plunge and the owner even let me pay her on a 4 month layaway.

The other dream doll I'd love to get my hands on is a B&G Nailo elf fullset (http://www.denverdoll.com/images/bgdolls/nailocol.jpg). He's just beautiful. And DDE accepts 4 month layaway, too ...

But nope, no more dolls for me until I find another job. Hopefully he won't be completely sold out by then.

I'd also love a IP Jessica. She's just gorgeous! I normally go for the elf-eared sculpts but I'd love her to be a girlfriend for my Kyle Reese. At least she isn't limited edition.

Thought I might revive this thrwad as I am currently in athe process of getting a much coveted doll. One I have been drooling over since I got into this hobby but never thought really feasible. Honestly, it really isnt feasible now except that I ma selling off anything I can bare to part with in order to get the funds.

Made me curious.. What about all of you...? At what point does your dream doll become feasible? Or, at what point is it more a case of.. no I can't part with what i ahve so the dream will need to remain a dream for now? JUst curious. :)

Since I have an SD on order, my thoughts are returning to an MSD . . . and I lovelovelove the SoulDoll Asen. She is the perfect sculpt for a character of mine. I wish Emory had her available, but he said he isn't planning a SoulDoll order for a while yet. So either I save my pennies in hopes that she'll be available at JS or I go against my better judgment and do a layaway with DDE.

I'll jump in this. I'm having major doll lust for a Soom Super Gem Ivory. And there is always the MNF Lishe that I've wanted forever. I'm not sure if I'm ready for the jump to SD sizing yet. Claire works well with the others at 50 cm 'cause she's so slim. Plus, I worry about being able to handle a larger sized doll with my stupid, arthritic hands. Still, there is something about Ivory that I just adore. I'm hoping maybe for Christmas I'll be able to order her.
My unobtainable dream doll is probably Soom's Cass. Just the human version. I don't require all the fancy finnery. But with her head alone reselling from $250-$350 she's just too rich for my blood.

My dream doll, for years, has been Iplehouse Cocori in any of the tan skin tones. She seemed utterly out of reach, until I found someone selling her on DoA, and she allowed me to put her on a four month layaway! And she was only $400 to start with (and a full-set, though that's sorta neither here nor there for me).

I just made the first payment, so it'll be a while, but I'm soooo happy! :)

Mine isn't too far out of reach. The current "dream doll" at the top of my list is Azone's Kanata from Sora no Woto (25 cm Pure Neemo). The only down side is that it's an "either or" purchase that'll nuke my hobby budget for at least a couple of months.

Probably piss off the wife, too! :lol:

So, my dream doll and a bit of what I would call a grail and half .. Comes from the deliriously expensive realm of Dollshe. I have been eyeing up the Saint since I first squirmed into this hobby and.. I just.. I really feel like I want to nab him before they wind up taking him out of production again. I have the order placed, just have yet to send payment. Sold a few things here and there on Ebay, but trying to sell a few more things to ensure fnds before seeing such a large chunk hit my credit card. O_o Debating tossing another one of my other dollies up for sale, but at this point it's a hard sell of who I can bare to part with. ^^;;

been wondering who this mysterious dream doll was and when you were going to tell us LOL. Saint's are cool. I think that when I was first investigating BJDs what got me curious was seeing a doll someone had done up to be the spitting image of Dream from DC comics Sandman series. In fact, I think it was either a hound or a saint sculpt that was used.

I don't think I have a dream doll at the moment, but I'm pretty damn sure I'm going to be flinging cuss words at SOOM over that new centaur doll that's coming out for September. I'd probably have to make payments for a year to be able to pay for it ><

Sorry about that. I have been rather scattered lately and hardly noticed that I had not mentioned the actual doll. :( It's been a rough few weeks and I am emotionally and physically exhausted. Anyway.. Yes I have been pining over Saint for forever. I feel like it's one of those cases where I buy dolls that I "like" or am interested in but nothing ever compares, you know? So yeah.. 10 minutes ago my dearest hub drops this bombshell on me.... He placed the payment... O__O.. Okay, not looking a gift horse in the mouth and all cause I did get a bonus and a raise, but we have some serious bills to pay (more coming in the future) PLUS---.. I wanted to wait until more stuff sold... I'm just kind of in sticker shock right now. There's like this nasty knot in my stomach.
