I think it was also so that you could feel the body with very little outlay of cash. I got Cordie's head and body for less than $30.00-I already had the eyes and made her wig. I did her face with watercolor pencils, acrylic paint and pearlex powder.
A Baby Hujoo full set is $66 from junkyspot and comes with hair, eyes, clothes and has already been painted. It would also let you feel ABS for relatively little outlay.

Could be, hey I'm not the only tiny owner and it could be her lack of face up. I just like them that way because they can have a range of emotions in photographs.

I want a faceup... i don't really like a doll without a faceup~! that doesn't mean it has to be tradictional/normal/... faceup~! just means she should have a faceup of some kind XD tho depends... i could imagine the doll i'm really in love with without a faceup and i wouldn't mind... it depends i guess xD

yes, i'm so stupid >< for not realising that~! thank you for the suggestion... the baby hujoo is kind of cute, i could by the body to try the feel for $30... or just as well the fullset for $66.00... (since it's kind of cute~) then the doll wouldn't be "wasted"... i don't think i'd otherwise buy the hair etc separately XD so then it could be for the feel of the material as well as become one of my dolls... i didn't originally consider a small doll but... why not i guess? XD well, i'll think about it~! but you're right, it's not much... ^^
