Google, you know is isn't the kisses that affect the value of your resin. Keep a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser nearby, and a can of lysol.

Another quick comment from Ri-ri, and the reason we both love Dollieh Sanctuary so much.

heh heh Having worked at Exide for the past eight years, I feel we need to add car battery casing, lids, and components to the stuff-made-out-of-polyurethane list.

Resin dollies = car batteries!

I like my dolliehs a lot.
Actually, I like my dolliehs more than I like a lot of people I know in real life.
Is that bad? I think not!

Well, this is what Wikipedia has to say about polyurethane resin:

Polyurethanes are widely used in high resiliency flexible foam seating, rigid foam insulation panels, microcellular foam seals and gaskets, durable elastomeric wheels and tires, automotive suspension bushings, electrical potting compounds, high performance adhesives and sealants, Spandex fibers, seals, gaskets, carpet underlay, hard plastic parts (such as for electronic instruments) and highly expensive Asian dolls whose owners delude themselves into thinking that their dolls are made out of some divine substance rather than ordinary plastic, duh.

...well, that's what it should say.

Yes, yes, I know...polyurethane resin takes detail from molds far more readily than injection-molded plastic, it's higher quality, blahblahblah. I'm not talking to or about anyone on this forum when I say that certain individuals believe your doll is less special if it's not made of PUR and costs less than $500. Yes, it's a permanent sore spot and I should move on. I've just been sneered at once too often, I guess.

Just remember that people who sneer no matter what they are sneering at are IDIOTS. They never seem to realize just how obviously stupid it makes them look.

Thanks much, Llwynog. You have no idea how good that makes me feel.

I don't even know why I frequent That Other Board anymore...I need to spend my time here among the cool kidz. :D

(Then I realized it was a Bratz and I was like, why am I kissing a bratz?)

Well, they use gold for tooth fillings, and to decorate weird and often tacky home projects with gold leaf. :(

So really, Godly resin = gold!!!

Google, you know is isn't the kisses that affect the value of your resin. Keep a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser nearby, and a can of lysol.

I was waiting for that!! Yes Lou, we all remember the terrible stories your dolliehs told of their time with you... heck, you even made a photo story about a certain doll's boob job! Which was when *sigh* you still liked vinyl. Snob.
