My xbox charged me $100 for points I didn't buy. I called them and they're going to refund it sometime in the next two weeks.. I was just about to buy a new dollie and it put that on hold until they give me my money back...

Thanks, Greyhaunt... My boyfriend did offer to pay for the doll with his money while we waited for the refund to come in, but that would take money away from food and gas for the week.. so it's just better if I wait.
It is really hard to be patient, though. I hate waiting. :/

No problem, least dramatic piece of advice that got me there was Jim Henson's attitude if someone stole his wallet they obviously needed it more than he did and seeing the universal justice that came to people who wronged the family.

And VV makes a good point that you didn't need to be that person. Set yourself on the path to become a better person.

I have to go to a memorial today for the husband of a good friend. The good part is that he will be there, as will more of my friends. The bad part is that Dan was a great guy, and I really miss him. And he made the best homemade ice cream ever!

I just dropped the girl I mentor off at her home. Normally she's a real sweet little girl, but today she had a major case of the gimmes. She went as far as trying to pull the I-won't-leave-the-store-unless-you-buy-me-something routine. When I refused to give in, she got got grumpy with a kicked-puppy expression. While I did the right thing, the depressed expression she had when I left her made me feel like the bad guy. *sigh*
I think we'll be skipping the window shopping for awhile.
