Wondering if I'd ever use it is what got me in to fat quarters instead of yardage. Having spent 2 days sorting, photographing, and putting away in a somewhat order I've determined I have some pretty cool patchwork quilts in my future. And even that I've held back on. All I need is a couple yards of this stuff I have in a tote bag to offset a quilt :/ Makes me think I should sell off some squares. I should actually finish some of the stitching I started too.

Nah, he's more smug. Anyway, he seemed down-right happy even though his boot was missing.

Yeah, Giren's definitely the smug genius evil dictator instead of the angry one as well. There's a reason I compare him to Akio Ohtori (well, more than one reason actually *cough*).

I have a desire to play this guy as almost likable, possibly even silly and buffoonish. At the very least, he needs to seem appealing to help explain the source for his popular support.

Meanwhile, I've been on another flag designing binge to give The People something to rally around. I've given in to the temptation to do the standard Nazi red-white-black, including one that's pretty darn close to the flag of Tomania from the film The Great Dictator Wiki LINK. I'm not convinced that this is the direction I want to go, although I can see using it as source of dark humor. I dunno....

On a related note, this afternoon's photo shoot was a complete bust. Not one usable image in the lot. :?

Put 2 young Gretels on standees and they refuse to come down. One thinks she's a ballerina and the other thinks she can fly. *shakes head*

In other news, I just met my new other-side-of-the-wall neighbor (other half of the duplex) and his friend. They seem like nice guys. Though on the way back inside I overheard something I don't think I was supposed to hear when one of them said, "Mmm mmm mmm, honey's got a sistah booty. Niiiice!" and the other gave what sounded like an "um hmm" in agreement.

O_O What exactly is a "sistah booty"? And is this a good thing? Because it sounded like it might be... ?

I realize I'm resurrecting an old question - but while I cannot define "Sistah Booty" for you, I did ask one of the students here at the law school to confirm for me that being said to have one is a compliment. She said "definitely!" :D

I really love our student workers, they constantly expand my cultural horizons and keep me from turning into a stale old lady LOL

Perhaps you should change your title to "Haughty Veal-Witted Strumpet".
