But the packaging clearly illustrates an open egg with the toy inside and secondly the toy is not within the edible part of the chocolate. I think the real danger is giving this to a tiny child and not supervising which is probably what has happened on numerous occations.
I don't like Kinder Eggs now (white chocolate with waxy milk chocolate on the outside? yuckkers) but when I was a little kid my mom used to get them for me as a treat once a week. She would help me put the little toys together and we had a tiny collection of them.
Man - didn't they ban those magnet toys recently too due to swallowing hazard? Buckyballs? Even though it clearly states on the package that it isn't a toy meant for children.
