This makes me sad. Hazel needs to put on mourning.

Hello.
Small news:
Saburou Obitsu, the President of Obitsu, He died at Oct. 28.

The official comment of Obitsu is not announced now.
I searched it many times but not found.

I saw this tweet 2days ago. I (and many people) trust it.

[news of death]
Saburo Obitsu, authority of the PVC industry of Japan, and representative of Obitsu Plastic Manufacturing Co.,Ltd., passed away yesterday (Oct.28).
Age at death 78 years old.
■ religious service: Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 from 18:00
■ funeral service: Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 from 10:00 to 11:00
(in Tokyo)
-----

Obitsu did bring a new era of high-posable doll bodies.
*In the 1/6 doll market in Japan, they "killed" Volks 1/6, but they were "killed" by Pureneemo (with amount of supply of official clothing).
I remember the lylic of "Viva la Vida"...

**EDIT:
In the 1/3 (and 1/4) market, Obitsu has good position. :)

Thanks yah for the information. Hopefully Obitsu will make some sort of official announcement soon. I'm sure they have more important concerns right now.
I'll continue to do my part to help keep Obitsu well positioned in the 1/3-1/4 scale markets.

Because I refuse to take this as a suck. After being out there for two years someone bothered to give one of my pattern books a bad review because 12 pages isn't a book and the patterns aren't refined and look like they were Xeroxed.

So?

Not like I was aiming to keep costs down or that I make it up in volume. Or that I keep the comment "I've had a lot of fun with this book" among my affirmations.

lol, one bad review doesn't mean much...

I post fanfiction online and usually add an author's note at the end of all stories/chapters that reads "A/N: Reviews are love." I recently received a review on the latest chapter of one of my stories (which has not been updated in over a year, btw...) that said I was loser and reviews are not love. I laughed pretty hard before deleting it.

That someone even took the time to post that amuses me to no end. I mean, really? (In fact, in some places I've even posted "reviews are love, except when they are hate", because some of my stuff has inspired well-deserved rants/flames, or disturbed people to the point that they could not continue reading it...)
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

I'm not letting them get to me and think it might get people curious to see what's so "bad" about the train wreck, er, book. After all it's been available for about 2 years now and all sales have been generated by word of mouth :)

At least it was spelled correctly and the reviewer had good grammar.

*And the person who asked "Can I be you when I grow up?" screams loudest of all!
