Thanks, K2! I'm in Germany. It was only just sent out today, so the website might not have caught up yet. I'm just being my usual impatient self :D

Some days I suspect the real reason why i have weird size larger dolls is so that I would not be able to 'click buy' on a whim

I hear that! When you're getting something from somewhere you've ordered from before, you start worrying instantly. "Than only took 3 hours last time. How come it's taken 5?"

I knew I was due for a third week, October being my 10th year at my job, but I wasn't expecting to actually get it until January when all the vacation days reset. Surprise! XD While I do love having a whole extra week off, I wish I'd been told this sooner. Then maybe I could have actually had time to plan an actual VACATION with it.

Oh well! In January I'll get my full three weeks again and durn it next year I am DETERMINED to make it to some sort of convention! Either a doll convention or an anime convention or a fantasy convention or, ideally, all three. lol

Anime Detour here in Minnesota!! Or Convergence!

Or Dollakon in Texas. ^.~

Nothing makes it impossible to buy gifts for people that might not need/want them when you're out of spending money. It brings one back to the true meaning of the season... Avoiding Black Friday commercials while watching the Twilight Zone marathon, wondering if someone will come visit, and mindless eating. I can't imagine what's so important about a cheap TV that you have to camp out for a week.

Fortunately the appointment went without problems and I wound up forgetting to even take Kaname with me and even if I had I wouldn't have been able to hold him anyways or at least not comfortably. (I broke my glasses awhile back so I needed to pick out new frames too.)

And now I can't stop listening to music from Tarzan..

Disney music ftw!

K2!, yeah, pretty much ^^ the last one took 4 working days, I hope this one will be as fast, or I'll get bored to death next weekend ... I'm banking on faceups, patterns and a sewing orgy XD

On the topic of doll arrivals, I talked to my dad on the phone the other day and told him my doll was on her way.
Dad: "So what's she going to become?"
Me: "The same she is, a human girl."
Dad: "What, no elves?"

For some reason my credit card had been put on hold since at least last week. It could have been longer but I haven't touched it and all my banking has been done n person recently so I didn't even think of it until I tried to use it the other day. I guess something had accidentally been changed in my file and some sort of block used for minors to not spend money had ended up being put on it and no one's really sure how/why considering I'm not a minor. Weird clerical error.

I wish "Hollywood" would get to a point where you could get any particular episode of any TV show you want. There's so many shows out there where I'd never be interested except someone I like was a guest star for something. Old TV movies too.

*Well Star Trek fans, it was the 70s and Captain Janeway and Garak needed the money http://youtu.be/Goi01KuoWrE

A book I bought 5-6 years ago for £5... Couldn't remember it's name and I've been trying to update my records, so I went and rediscovered it on amazon. They've only got 1 copy up and the seller is asking for £75! WTF that's a ridiculous price!! So of course I looked on evilbay, but there's nary a trace of it... It can't be that rare, I remember Smiths and Ottakers were swimming in them! I know I'm not selling (I like the graphic novel in question far too much) but but! wth?? I don't think I'd ever buy it for that price knowing that I could stumble upon it in a bookshop for far less (but damn I wish I'd taken better care now, not that it's falling apart or anything, but if it's going to be that hard to replace...)

...and yes it's a Doctor Who book, they make up a significant proportion of my little collection
Crazy Mulitverse Crew: Drax, Jareth, Jerome, Elrana Milenkova, The Thin White Duke, Vasily Lupandin, Ramin Aiphos, Theta Sigma, Aiko Koyame, Lord Havelock Vetinari, Dr Nicholas Rush, Anon., Nyta Kinall, Otto Kreiner, That Demon, Sasu, Yaya, Ombre
