This is going to be my last frivolous doll related purchase because my next major purchase is going to be a house- hopefully this year. I bought a Rochelle Goyle Monster High doll from Walmart. They had freshly stocked their Monster High merchandise and I didn't want to miss the opportunity. I'm a sucker for gray skin and wings.

I plan to repaint and maybe reroot her but I have to practice rooting on my dollar store dolls first.

Ordered my very first Obitsu eyehole head and eyes from JS! I'm so excited! I'm finally gonna be doing something with the Obitsu boy that's been sitting in his box for years.

Finally found a nice hot pink plaid pleated skirt for Genesis! Woot! Also some rad socks and jeans. More clothes, but still no shoes :/

I got some cool stuff this past week for my dollieh.
An adorable mini deck chair from some home decor shop, a lime green mini shopping trolley and a medieval look metal chair that would work cool as a throne.

Might've bought a minifee Chloe off the DOA MP. 'Cause I didn't want to wait until October or November for the body for my Eliya head to arrive. She can borrow Chloe's until it comes. I expect her to arrive today.

And non-dolly-wise, I bought a 2.5 gallon 360 degree view tank, and a Double Moon-tail Betta fish to go in it. The fish was WAY expensive ($13.00 is expensive for a fish), but he's so pretty! Hard to tell from the pic, but his tail is split right down the middle so it looks like he has two tails. Thus, the name.



I actually had bought a smaller tank, but the filtration system was so strong the poor thing couldn't even swim. And it even said on the box "Ideal for Betta!" Pfft. Yeah, right. So I put him in a little bowl and went out to buy a different tank, which seems to be much better. The first one is going back today.

Bettas are so pretty but after managing to kill off two of them in less than four months, I no longer attempt. D: It could be that they were sick to begin with..both of them came from the little plastic cups at wal-mart, but I won't chance it with a pricier specimen.

I had a betta once. My older brother gave him to me for my 20th birthday.

But poor Leviathon starved to death because he was used to pellet food and not flakes, which we figured out too late. He did not know the flakes were food, because he was used to eating the pellet kind of fish food.

ANYWAYS: my recent purchases = virtual currency for an MMORPG (yes, I waste real-life money on these things) and a Volks 1/6th body I won on ebay.

My latest buys are 50 6mmx1.5mm magnets! I won them at a tophatter auction and I had $10 in credit so it only cost me $4. Now I'll be able to make more wings and other stuff!
