I made it to NYC!!! School sent me down for a conference, so not only do I get a weekend in NYC, I don't have to pay for it! ^___^ Flight down from Buffalo was pretty good, only some gusty conditions as we were coming in to land. Oh, and apparently the school made the room reservations in my principal's name, probably thinking we'd be traveling together. So I get to the hotel and they don't have anything in my name... >_< Fortunately the clerk thought to ask if there was anyone else from my school staying here and we looked up the principal, 2 rooms. The business office really needs to TELL us if they do stuff like this. *sigh* But I'm here now. ^___^

Package from DDE should be arriving today! Two sets of hands for Kess, two sets of shoes, some eyes, and a Pukifee Zoe (who will be sharing the body with Shiwoo once his faceplate arrives (and until I get him his own body).

Glad I didn't request signature confirmation, though. Won't be around to accept it. I'll be in Hershey most of the afternoon, and attending a hockey game tonight. Friend had an extra ticket. My second game ever! Bears against ... um ... I haven't the foggiest notion, actually. But who cares! Getting to watch my friends jump up and down and scream like complete lunatics at the players is just too much fun to miss. XD

Oh, yeah, and getting to be in NYC? SO jealous. I so wanna go there for vacation again. Hmmm....maybe this summer....

I finally quit my job that involved being attacked and cleaning up adults poop. And instead of going back to another type of job I also can't stand, the boyfriend and I figured out a way to make it so that I can go back to school full time. I'm going to finish up my AAS which I only have about 10 classes left, and then I'll also finish up my BS, so that I have an AAS in Web Development and a BS in Computer Science. I am so happy! I feel so good to just be able to focus on school for the first time in my life, and actually want to as well!
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Got to go to the ONE place I really wanted to on this trip... I had never been to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and just really wanted to visit. Now I have. ^__^ I wandered all over the Egyptian and Asian side and took a side trip into the Weapons and Armor section. I nearly squeed aloud when passing through the Egyptian section, from two rooms away I spied Hatsheput!!!!! Then I get closer and find they have a whole room just for her!!!!! *dies* She is my absolute favorite pharaoh.

Then of course I HAD to go through the gift shop... and there... on the sale table, was a book on Hirado ceramics. THAT is the island I lived on when I was in Japan. Needless to say that book had to come with me, as did one on Chinese garments, also on sale. ^___^

Hatshepsut rules! Or ruled, I guess.

New, considerably stronger glasses ordered and on the way. Looking forward to being able to see the screen properly.
