Psychic shopper, I like that. Mine made me get the clay I needed and some TV DVDs.

Well the dolls might have to be scootched around for my writing, but playing dolls is a great way to start the day and get the creative juices flowing. The horror movie script I wrote about the characters from my doll family, Xavier, Jibriel and kids, is off to be read by a master. :) It's not about dolls though, characters came first, but if it does take off I'll have to design some or have a JS exclusive Dollzone Fei.

Must see pics of all the incoming dolls, I have monies saved up for another doll or a shiny device.

Yay! I haz innernetz agiin! :D

I found a model kit in storage that I didn't remember buying but now will allow me to work on a project I've had in mind without sinking a lot of money in to it. Having the time to actually get it done is another matter.

Speaking of time, the lack of it is also creating a problem for the new blog I mentioned above. One of my goals is to make this one more image intensive than my previous efforts. However, that requires me to create images (photos) and that takes time (not to mention good light) which, as I mentioned, has been in short supply recently.

OMG, I nearly had a coronary today. I went to see the status of my Adobe CS5 order - and it showed Canceled O.O AAAARRRRGGGG. And yet my account said that my academic credentials had been approved and it would ship on time - I was so freaked out! So I called and found out that their database system is wierd and because my address didn't get saved the order got canceled automatically *groan*. Fortunately we now have all address info in and the order redone and I WILL get my software on May 3rd. Very Happy Greyhaunt!

Gah -- they're up to CS5 already? I'm still trying to get a new computer so I can use my CS3!!! (I do all my photo work in Photoshop 5.5, actually....)

Survived another week -- now I have a new girl who is demanding clothes, and she's a bit too slim to share with the other girls... (Obitsu 50). But oh, is she a wonder to pose!

And it's FRIDAY! Whoo!

OMG, CS5 is like - orgasmic!!! The new features in Photoshop are enough to send me swooning! And I'm upgrading from CS2 myself LOL. Takes me a while sometimes :)

My rejoice for the day: I get to play D&D tonight. I am addicted, I admit it. (As if the fact that my little army of 1/6ths are all based on my & my hubby's characters weren't enough to prove that. >.> ) Not only that, but the campaign I am putting together, for whenever the hubby needs a break from DMing, is coming along well in the planning. It will be my first ever attempt at being the DM, so I am rather nervous about it.

My "zaftig girl" got here today! ^_^ And her color is just the right shade to look decent with either an Obitsu white or Volks natural head. So the heads I am considering for her will work. Yay!

My rejoice is two-fold - both Lorilei and my new PlanetDoll mini-Riz arrived today!!!! *dances like Snoopy^

I'm generally pleased with how Lorilei's faceup and blushing turned out. I think the artist went a little overboard with the face blushing and there's a small blushing tint smudge on her nose that I'm not keen on, but then again, she did tell me that she found at least 3 scratches on Lorilei's face that she had to try to work around. Now - how do I restring her? And the kips! Has anyone used kips yet?

As for mini-Riz, well even without a faceup she's adorable. She's a little tightly strung (especially her right arm), but she stands up really well and holds poses nicely. Her joints are a bit unusual, kind of basic - at least they seem to be in my limited experience with BJDs. I'll have to take some pics and show y'all later. I was pleasantly surprised to realize that the eyes I recently raided from a porcelain and stuffing doll fit her perfectly. They aren't the ones I want her to have, but at least she has a pair for now! I'll be ordering both her and my CH Ange Ai, Arden, new wigs from Tinybear later this week. Oh, and she can fit into Barbie size clothing pretty well - dresses anyway. She's a bit on the slender size (except for her hips). I think I'm really going to enjoy her and am already looking longingly at mini-Renee, the elf.

I also have plans to do her faceup (and probably Arden's) myself. This will be my first attempt. Right now the weather isn't cooperating. It's either raining, windy or both.

Anyway - *squeeeee!*
