chocolate.....droooool.... sugar-free chocolate syrup is not a suitable substitute for real milk chocolate...at all. Being diabetic sucks :(

On the other hand, went to new doctor the other day and weighed 10lbs less than I had three weeks earlier! So that's about 20lbs down since getting laid off. I have to admit, there are some benefits to job loss.

Now that my cold is gone I went walking again too - short version though, I'm feeling that week of no walking ><

What percentage dark chocolate?

About 70% I think. Higher is better, but not everyone can handle 80%. :D
Also, I'd better mention that even extremely dark chocolate does have calories and fat so if your problem is weight as well as cholesterol, it may not help.

You just have to fit in in your calories-1 ounce has less than 200 calories.

Use unsweetened Cocoa and sweeten it with the sugarfree sweetner of your choice-the flavor is better. Diabetes doesn't mean no sugar at all-you just have to monitor your intake and move your body. Losing weight helps, but building muscle will help reduce your insulin resistance.

No matter how many times someone tells me something awesome about dark chocolate... BLEH, I hate dark chocolate. I dislike bitterness of something that I was raised to believe was sweet ;A; Hubs says it's like learning to like scotch, you just have to keep trying it.

exercised 5 days in a row. I need a break for a couple days XD next week jacking it up to 45 minutes instead of 30

arg. I've lost weight out of only one boob. so one's a small D and the other is a biggish DD. this is so not fair.

Man, that IS unfair.

Grr, my muscles are crazy store and tight but only behind my shoulder blades. Everything else is feeling OK with the new exercise routine. Underneath my shoulder blades, like deep in my back, it really has been sore. I backed off a lot this week in hopes I'd give my body a little time to heal / recover.

Somebody wants me to get to doing yoga. I went to Goodwill today to look for dolls. Not much there but while I was there I picked up what I thought was a man's canvas belt to use as a yoga strap. It looked long enough and it was like $2 and I was in a hurry so I just grabbed it and threw it in the cart. I get home and I threw the bag on a table. Didn't look at anything till just now. Took out the "belt" and et voila it IS a yoga strap a rather expensive one from Hugger Mugger at that. I must have some yoga angels urging me on, no? :P

tree, I have a thing called a Davinci tool I got on amazon that is GREAT for working out the knots under the shoulder blades.
