I'm sorry this has happened to you. You guys are the innocent victims and don't deserve this nonsense. Do you have any local housing assistance you can contact? Aren't we still under a non-eviction order from the federal government?

Been looking, and it's much easier with a working car now. We're long term child free on housing assistance with regular income so... Most of it is avoiding the scammers and horse pucky and getting them to understand that you can't be on this program unless you're on the up and up. And they have to allow mom's hearing dog.

We've been talking about moving out of the immediate area for awhile, it's a wind tunnel, and I was hoping an opportunity would have come in for me to get my own place, but the tree had other ideas. So now we're...

I almost feel like asking if anyone here needs a room mate or something. I'm already used to living in just one room, obviously don't mind dolls and pets. Steady income. The biggest thing is I don't drive.

Most of what we've found have been scams or they find a shady reason not to rent to us or the smothering unit has it up her keester not to go to the high desert where we could have a mansion for like $5 because it's high desert. So if she or the other ____ in the house cause us to be homeless for blog reasons I don't know what I'm going to do.

*Did have a change of luck with what we qualify for. Now to find somewhere that is up to code. Like, yeah, we'd like a roof. Turn of the century house didn't have one. The one before this didn't have a floor. This one had an indoor swimming hole.

Yeah, and somehow that house and its rats managed to pass inspections for seven years, but that was one particular county out here. The way the voucher works is we can apply for anything within a certain price range. If they'll take the voucher they have to meet minimum building codes. At least two places we actually toured finally decided not to, altho we have a great record, because we suspect they didn't want to be up to code.

The other issue has been places have been impossibly small, you can imagine 3 bedrooms and 2 baths squeezed into 900 sq feet, or with yesterday the backdoor was in a bedroom which we know won't fly. if the one we see on Saturday is in this dimension we'll probably apply for it. We're white, I have dolls, haunted isn't a problem.
