Go to CRScrafts and buy a restringer - it's basically a hook on a handle that you use to reach down into the doll to pull the elastic cord through the neckhole. Or you get some good stiff wire from the craft store - like thick plant wire - and bend one piece in a U shape using that to pull the elastic through the neck hole.

take a peek at how your new doll is strung - they are all basically the same (although I highly recommend putting S hooks on your BBB - the hands and ankles pose better that way.

Also search "String BJD" on you tube and I'm sure you'll find several videos.

Actually, Lorilei does have S hooks for her hands and ankles. And would a small tip crochet hook work to restring?

It would work, my friends and I have gone that route before. It'd be easier and there'd be less swearing if you use a restringer.

The crochet hook is harder to use for this job because the elastic tends to slip off very easily, prolonging the restringing process. Having a second pair of hands helping you makes the job faster and easier too.

I got the 60 cm Mo head from someone on DoA who didn't want it and was selling it. I'm pretty sure it will work on the 50 cm Obitsu body, which will give me a Vickie with JUST enough height difference to be perfect with the rest and a head in proportion to Red's. Not sure what I will do with the 50 cm BBB Luna-bodied Vickie if it does, but I'll cross that when/if I get to it.

Sadly, all this would equal for me is pain! I developed a chocolate allergy a few months ago, and now it just hurts every time I eat chocolate.

I could put the Mo head back on the DZ body, save up and get a BBB body for the Mei head, and take the old Luna head and the Luna body, and either make a Unicorn Girl OR dye the whole thing black and do a Bast mod.
