Good luck with this! My cousin has a Doberman and she is Fear Aggressive. They're gonna put her on doggie anti-anxiety meds to see if that helps. Plus she's getting training. :?

If you had actually looked at those links, you would have seen they are all for training dogs NOT to be aggressive. I suggest you look at them.

Yes, I had an attack trained shepherd and it is vital that you keep them in training as to what is APPROPRIATE aggression. Food aggression is right out. Other animal aggression is right out.

All the trainers I worked with to keep him on the right course said that the owner and handler and their family members must be part of the training.

Misty, I guess I was so pissed, upset, tired and PMSing that the links didn't even register in my brain . . . I'll take a look tomorrow. Thank you!

Yesterday my daughter had a rare pimple and we put some 10% benzoyl peroxide (sp) on it. Last night her face blew up like a balloon - forehead, nose and eyelids. Two Benadryl didn't do anything so this morning I took her to the doctor (the practice has a walk-in hour). Apparently she's allergic to benzoyl peroxide. She got a steroid shot (poor thing, she's almost phobic about shots) and some Xyzal samples. Hopefully that will work. Well that and the arrival of her Doll Factory pet Conie.

Can she use witch hazel? That's what I use. Good thing you found out when there was someone who could care for her.
