Dawn was the one who always screws up my order... so yell her at to make sure it's right when packed?

Almy, we talked about this before and then you said it wasn't Dawn but someone else screwing up your orders..? I don't remember the name...

-edit- I just checked, on FB you said her name was Amber.

I just checked too, ugh I feel stupid, but still didn't stop MoC from screwing up several orders. Maybe I'm just cursed even Bobobie screwed up on my Mei, and they don't often screw up. >.<;

Wow Almy that is really bad, Dennis should know better... I've hit up the forums just now, we'll see what happens. And MoC? Argh... there's nobody left after them, really, as DDE has done a spectacular job of losing my business themselves. So far MoC hasn't screwed up on me... *crosses fingers*

Ugh fieraentara, a clean home is a sign of having nothing to do in one's life. O.o;; I got hit by a "surprise" HOC inspection the morning of the same day I was going to do major cleaning because my kid siblings were coming over the next day for my birthday. HOC isn't supposed to do that, but nobody including management or myself got any advance warning. Last year the guy never showed up and I waited around for three days when I had places I needed to go (no car so it takes me longer by bus) and eventually he "bothered" to reschedule for much later. And of course, I had no choice about rescheduling myself this time. Ugh. I hope you can either work out the situation where you are or find a *better* place to live.

Wow... Okami that... is not at all what a friend should say to you. :< Amazing how you can give and give and give and when it comes to "oh, umm... I could really use just a tiny bit of help"... the true colors start coming out. As to spoiled brats, if "I work by commission, thanks" doesn't work... "sorry, I'm booked until 2014, I can pencil you in for March 15th of that year and my hourly rate is $__" might get the hint across. XD

Larry just got rude about it. When people start asking for things for their sketchbook, or tattoo designs he'll say "That'll be $X" right up front, and if they start to whine, he adds "I don't even give art away to my family." Which isn't true, but how would they know that?

I don't like being rude! D: But honestly, the whole family that young lady comes from are rather self-centered. I mean for crying out loud, her brother just got out of jail for stealing a damn bicycle. And when I said I didn't like the guy because he was disrespectful to me in my home, and comes into my house without knocking, his mother gets on my case as though I'm some child instead of a grown-ass woman (albeit a young woman) and had to answer to her for the people I like or dislike. Um... 'scuze me? Maybe if you raised your crotch spawn to have a decent set of manners, then I wouldn't have a problem with him. I walked away, because, as I said, I don't like being rude, and to me, it's kind of trashy to stand around my front step arguing. I'm a firm believer in drama staying behind closed doors. No-one wants to hear/see/know about your dirty laundry.

On the other hand, there is a certain sort of satisfaction in letting people know that you don't stand for nonsense. I've been screwed over on paid jobs more times than I like to think about, and it gets old.

AlmySidaKay wrote:Just got another MoC order that was screwed up. This makes three strikes for them and I really just need to stop ordering from them now. All I ordered was 2 pairs of shoes and they couldn't even get this right, sent me one pair at 6.3cm size and one that was clearly 7cm. AND MY ORDER CLEARLY STATED THE SHOES WERE BOTH TO BE 6.3cm size. HOW DO YOU NOT NOTICE THE SHOES ARE NOT THE SAME SIZE?!

:hugs: Oh, I'm so sorry, Almy-san!!!!!! That's a shame, both for you and them. If they just double or triple checked the order before it's shipped out, it would save a lot of time, effort, money and frustration!

I've ordered from MoC about 8 times, and they've been very prompt, but did have an error with my order once or twice. (I ordered a pair of shoes with a doll and eyes, and they forgot to put the shoes in my box. ^^;;) They quickly rectified the situation and shipped the correct shoes immediately, so all's well, but I felt badly for them as they had to pay additional shipping costs to send me the shoes. If the packer(s) just CHECKED what they were sending, everyone would be so much happier. ^^ I know I do when I ship to customers. I quadruple check things!! ^^ :laughs:

But it's not just MoC-----can you believe Volks Japan is even worse? Volksusa is impeccable and NEVER misses EVER. (I've placed about 20 orders or more with them and they're perfect every time. I guess since they have a nonexistent return policy, they'd better be accurate, right? But you have to admit, they are!)
But Volks Japan....wow......I've placed the same amount of orders from them, about two dozen, and they had packing errors about 1/3 of the time......in at least 6 or 7 orders!!! Either wrong heads or wrong bodies, a missing head, a missing body, once a whole set of wrong shoes and once they sent me a 1/6 head INSTEAD of a 1/3 head!!!!! :faints: That was the scariest! But, like MoC, they always fixed the problem. I'd have to ship back the wrong items and then they'd send the correct ones, along with reimbursing my return shipping costs. So, I wasn't upset with them, and again, felt REALLY bad for them, since they had to reship using EMS (Express mail!) so it cost them so much for the mistakes-----it was just every time I placed a new order with them, I actually waited for the box with trepidation and expected to see what they 'messed up' on that time.... ^^;;

On a happier note, Emory (JunkySpot) is always perfect, too, just like Volksusa.com. Plus, you can count on him to send you what you ordered AND so much, much more!!!! He's the best!!!!

Only once did I see Emory ever forget something, and it was shipped out before the person even noticed it was missing from the order. Emory is by far the best! I just wish he sold lots more MSD sized shoes and outfits I guess? :p

I'm always suspect about using DDE since my very first doll order was handled so wrong by them. My one experience with MOC was very good - they shipped my pre-order doll and the outfit and other extras I ordered together without error. I actually did have a couple of errors with Junky Spot, but Emory handled them right away, to the detriment of his own bottom line.
