We both always joked about running off to Las Vegas, and so in an interesting turn of fate we've actually decided to do a destination wedding in Vegas in November of this year. I am beyond thrilled to be marrying my high school sweet heart, and it's been quite the amazing crazy year already.

Ditto Congrats to AlmySidaKay! Vegas sounds like a fun place to get married.

2 mini rejoices:

1) Tentative/Cautious rejoice here: Might maybe just about get all the data I need for my dissertation on time... Maybe

2) New chapter of CleanWhiteRoom's Mathematique is out!! Amnesiac!Rush is still just as cynical as PostGloria!Rush... Eli has turned up (and minor miracle, CWR is a good enough author that I don't want to kill him!)

Thanks folks! And grats on the kittens, new job, completion of dissertation, new dolls, the story publish, the new camera, a first face up, and everything else that everyone has to rejoice about as of late! I've been a horrible lurker, but I swear I do usually read, think congrats and then forget to actually post anything. >.<
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

While Mila is expecting kittens, I had Nava spayed today. I remember having my sweet Noor spayed about 12 years ago. I remember her needing to rest for days, doing nothing but sleep and lie still. But Nava is like.. I don't know.. she's taking the same risks she's always taking, jumping and climbing like mad (we often call her our little monkey). I just caught her hanging from a window high up from the floor. WTH? She's crazy... The only thing that shows she's still suffering from the after effects of surgery and anesthesia, is the fact that she can't really keep her eyes open yet LOL!

That's exactly why I kept my crazy kitten confined in my bedroom for several days after her spay surgery. That way she couldn't go TOO crazy, but still had a nice soft place to sleep.
