I'm staying up all night, to finally finish ALL my final school work. Sigh. I brought it upon myself, I'm the world's best procrastinator ever.. somehow I work really well at night but I always feel completely knackered afterwards. Fortunately I'll only have to work in the morning tomorrow... I'll go to bed in the afternoon. I can't wait!

But in other news...

My school changed dress codes, now we have to wear jeans or bermuda shorts, we can't wear those yoga pants(not that I ever did) or sweatpants anymore and all dresses have to be at the knee and have leggings underneath.

I understand keeping the clothing that comes into school decent but this is crazy, half my wardrobe just got thrown out the window because the only this I wear are dresses.

You get to wear jeans!! I had to wear khakis with a white or green polo with the school logo on it. It was a gross uniform. Needless to say I wear my school fleece almost all time. I didn't have to tuck my shirt in or wear a belt. XD

Like I said I think it's understandable to have a dress code but honestly if nothing is overly provocative or something there is no reason it can't be worn.

A Dress Code is one thing, and I am completely on board with the dresses having to be a certain length (in my old HS it was finger tip length, with your hands at your side), but having to wear leggings underneath? That's just crazy. Most dresses are going to look awful with leggings underneath, not mention how hot it would be during the warmer months. I mean if the dress is already knee length, it's going to cover everything anyway, and if you are wearing a skirt, you know how to bend over, and sit so nothing shows. So why the layers? What about tights? Can you were tights instead? That would still be a pain, but not as bad.


Hope you get crafty! It would be a shame if you lose half your wardobe.

My first 3 years of high school I went to a private school with a uniform then for my senior year I went to a public school and was like "What the heck?! I have nothing to wear!" XD

Uniforms? Yeah, my school definitely needs those...I've seen teachers compliment girls in booty shorts...and the common misconception among middle schoolers (and some high schoolers O.o) is that we don't, in fact, even have a dress code...it's really bad! >.<
I however (being the poor lolita...) usually wear dresses with leggings, and a petticoat, and bloomers, and a corset, and...XD
My school has SEE-THROUGH STAIRS O.O
Leggings (and at the very least, underwear... C'mon, girls, really?!) are essential.

Oooh no underwear that'll kill.

Our stairs are angled funny so.. you can get an underwear shot from a girl if they walk up in a short one but... I hate my legs so all my dresses are knee length or floor length, still though I just take the back staircases and have a friend walk behind me.

School itself isn't in session but I'm hoping to graduate early so I'm taking extra classes over the summer.. in my school they turn off the air conditoners off a week before school ends. In Delaware it gets extremely muggy and hot so I sit in school for 4 hours with jeans on x.x
