She's beautiful! Hope she can get more work in the future. It's fun and good money.

I had a friend who did extra work when she was living in Shreveport LA and my sister's BIL has done extra work for about 40 years now. He's also done some indy films with speaking roles, but in the major movie extra work, he tries to hide his face so they can use him multiple times in various scenes and he gets more work that way. :o)
Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD.

Joy's plan is to become a supporting actress, so camera time is actually a good thing for her, but yes, career background actors do just that - stay in the background! Although I swear there were several of the actors (both male and female) in the group of 170 plus total that I recognized from ... something. LOL

You can make a go of being a professional extra. The casting directors get to know the people they can depend on to be there and do that. If you find a copy of Extra In the Background of a Dream you can guess which one is me.

Thanks to a loan from a family member, we will make it to the end of the month, financially. I can't begin to explain how that improves my physical constitution as well as my psyche...

Sold the blue haired Ken reroot that was done with Monster Ghoulia left overs that match his eyes! And I found a loose PTE guy with a mohawk! His handless buddy might give me someone to experiment on to see how easy or hard it is to get their heads off. If it's easy Super Tom might get the bod.

My second cousin gave me a sewing machine  It's a Singer 15-91! I love when I flip it over to oil it, and see all the stamps that say "Made in West Germany"...maybe it's a weird thing to get excited about, but I like being connected to history this way.

That's pretty cool. It's like finding a globe with countries stamped on it that don't exist anymore. I saw one at the Goodwill like that, it was printed with the old Soviet map lines.

I have one of those. It's a beast. It's got wonderful tiny stitches. It's not my main machine. I have a non computerized New Home/Janome that is, but I still like to use it sometimes. It's wonderful to sew on. Here you might need these:

Parts and repair manual:

http://parts.singerco.com/IPinstManuals/15-91.pdf

and the manual, manual is on this page. If it doesn't dl let me know. I've got a pdf of it somewhere. They made these for a long time. Mine is from the early 50's actually and was made in the USA. There are some good videos on You Tube for them too. Just put in Singer 15-91 and you'll see people using and repairing them.

magkelly I've already downloaded the manual, but I think it would be fun to buy a vintage one someday. Just to have it...
It's in really good condition, I'm thrilled with it! It needed a little oiling, but not a single thing on it is broken :D Do you know where I can get accessories for it, though? I've only got one bobbin.
