always sunny ...

what kind of materialistic things have got you in a financial funk? cute clothes? a good book? video games?

one of my favorite bands of all time, The Offspring, is going on tour soon, and theyre stopping by my town to play. 20 minutes from my house. how much are tickets? $56. not HORRIBLE, but i don't have money. i'm flat-ass broke. can't even buy Skittles at the concessions stand at school. i'm in dismay! on top of that, i really want Tomodachi Life for the 3DS! wanting things is annoying ...

Well, depending on how long you have to save up, maybe you can manage the concert?

As for me? So many floating heads! How did this happen? They need bodies now.

Time to see if anyone will pay you to do yard work, mow, help clean house, walk dogs, help with a yard sale. Or you can collect aluminum cans, which you can sell at recycling centers. There are lots of ways for someone still in school to make some extra money.

hahaha... I know what you mean. I have too many "real-world" things to buy these days so doll funds are on the bottom of the priority bucket. Instead, I'll jam to Abba. Money money money... always sunny! hehehe

i like to babysit, but most of my mother's friends are pretty good about keeping their children with them or getting relatives to sit. i really dislike getting money from my own family, but i have signed up for a city program that kinda shoves random kids into jobs that will take them. i hope i get that one.
i'd love to walk dogs and do yard work for others too, but Baltimore is kind of a dangerous place, as much as i love it. i'm not allowed to walk around that much even during the day, and any REMARKS about associating with strangers makes my dad crazy. the bottles/cans idea sounds nice, though.
mainly i stick to putting stuff up on eBay and seeing if anybody will take the stuff i don't need. works sometimes, but my shipping calculator is WAY off because i don't know how much my items weigh. i need a scale.

my sister offered to pay for the concert, but i'm not so sure. i don't want her to pay for it if she doesn't want to go.

how did you accumulate all those heads? time for some body hunting!!

Sometimes sisters understand when it's important to pay for some things enjoy it or not.

Again I'm in the need $ for a car. This time someone with a back up camera backed in to us. We're fine. The rest of it requires screaming and hitting with a bat or shovel. If I wanted money just for what I wanted it would be a work station for my doll making, something to hold supplies and give me a table I can leave the little people on to dry. Or a trip to SeaWorld. I'd like to see how big my Baby Shamu has grown.

Hm, real world materialistic stuff... does trying to organize a holiday count? We're - me, my parents, and brother boy - are going down to London in July. We haven't had a holiday since before I started uni, and now that I'm graduated, we thought we'd try to do something nice. But man, it is expensive. Granted, that's probably because we're determined to do a couple of shows while we're down.

All I can say? Thank you theatres that do reasonably priced cheap seats (in which, from my personal experience, the 'restricted views' are never actually all that bad.)
